How come you forwarded the back parts . When I copy a RUclips workout it's best to do exactly what the guy is doing in the videos I can't fast forward like you in the video and the rests are essential in hiit . Checkout some of nate Bowers boxing workouts and then have a go at doing an MMA heavy bag work out video but with kicking , elbow strikes and hammer fist , head buts etc LOL . Thanks mate

Basically my goal with this video was to teach the workout, so I fast forward through the rest to show I wasn't faking the training, but also pseudo skip the part I thought was most boring to watch. I did consider the train along value and now I've seen you mention it, I'll do future videos with the rest period built into the video.
I just got in a ringside elite free standing bag and put down a lot of puzzle mats in the garage. I made a nice laminated list of your combos here and cant wait to get at it tomorrow night. Thank you for the video. Its really helpful

I think there should be practicing with a dumby bag a few time first, hate to get a black eye from someone swinging back an I'm doing it wrong, hh hhh lol
I started training 1 year a go. So im not the most experienced MA. This video helps. I got a bit sloppy at the end. I had a bit of difficulty with the combination hook roundhouse. It feels that im to close to the bag for the roundhouse? In MA class we do not practice on a bag, but on pads, which move along. I will do the video again soon.
It's OK to drop the pace if you get so tired your technique suffers, if you keep it up you will get super fit in no time! Hope your training is going well! For the Hook to Roundhouse combo take a step a little out to the side to give yourself enough room to kick, don't try to go all around the bag, just get the shin onto the target. So if you're in a left stance going left hook, right roundhouse, when you bring your hook back and you automatically rotate back to throw the kick step your left foot out to the left and pivot. It will take some tires to get used to but you will get the hang of changing range as you hit!

Right on! Nate does good videos, mine are with bags too and in my own coaching style. I've put out a couple 30 minute workouts in my recent videos that are pretty challenging. Workout explained at the start, round timers etc left in. Be sure to let me know which you like or anything you would change 👊👊

I just turned it up last night and did 60 sec on and 30 sec off. It about killed me, but i made it without stopping. This is a great/fun workout

Bag filled with sand or water? Really thinking about getting one
We always go with water, usually a lot cleaner and easier to fill! I've found that over time the bases filled with sand are more prone to cracks.
