Hi Vitor! I've been thinking about doing a video on conditioning, I'll have to plan and film it soon! In a nutshell I'd always focus on strengthening the general area so all the connective tissue etc is as strong as can be, that plays a big part in taking the impact successfully. So lots of running, ankle mobility, weight lifting squats in particular, calf raises too. Then you also need to keep working on the impact itself. When working heavy bags take more time to hit with your lower shin so it gets a chance to become stronger, really focus on that area for a few weeks. Train within your bodies limits and keep in mind that 500 medium or light kicks will help more than a few big ones that bruise you up too much. Hope that helps! Keep an eye out for the conditioning video!
Thanks for the advice, Lee! I'll be looking forward to your conditioning video, and I'll do my best to work my chins to a good shape. Thanks for the reply, and for your time!
