Note for anyone looking to get a Springer or Cocker Spaniel, the grooming needs are more demanding than this video suggests. Coats vary, with show lines usually having longer, thicker, and more feathered hair, but working lines also need careful and frequent grooming as well. Like this video says, mine see a professional groomer every 3 months or so to have their undercoat especially thinned out and a professional trim, but especially since Springers love water, mud, and are designed to push through hedges and explore in order to flush game, they are very prone to tangled and matted fur if not groomed daily. Will shed a lot if not groomed daily, and I still need to detangle and trim ears and feet especially. When the dogs are out running on walks and get wet and muddy, the Autumn and winter in England is a constant round of bathing, drying and grooming them. Tangles often form in the soft fur around and behind their ears, and even in places like the centre of the pads of their feet! That feathering needs a lot of maintenance.
After saying all that, they are a wonderful breed and worth all of that work! Excellent family dogs, so long as the family is active enough to take them on long daily walks, to explore new places, and train them well, so their mental stimulation happens as well as physical exercise. They're very smart and sensitive to their humans, so speak kindly, and don't punish harshly - this would only hurt your bond with them. A sharp tone of voice saying "ah ah" is enough to make my dogs immediately stop what they're doing, then they are praised for obeying that I'd told them to "leave", meaning leave that thing/dog/potential hazard alone. Very food and praise driven dogs that learn quickly, so train to do what you want them to be doing, even if that's lying in a bed quietly, using positive methods, is much better than harsh punishment training, and will lead to obedient and happy dogs, I guarantee.
