First session of the day and first time trying Federal FZ-201M tires and I was able to beat my previous PB by almost 2 seconds.

I am second to comment! LOVE your video's I have a 2018 Elantra Sport that is FBO and tuned for e30 @24psi by SXTH. I am also waiting for the 2023 Elantra N i just ordered in Performance Blue 8DCT! I cannot wait to get it, I will see about putting it on the track. And once I get it, I may make my 18 a track only vehicle (stripping all the components that add weight. We will see. But awesome racing and video's! Keep them up!!!
What kind of power is your Elantra Sport running with a tune? It could be a badass track machine!
@@elantran with the mods I have, similar modded ES’s are making 225WHP/275WTQ with 7DCT. I however am on e30, possibly 230-235WHP…. Stock baby turbo. I have also got PowerFlex Mount bushings (purple) about 30-35% stiffer than stock, 2019 VT R-Spec wheels (lighter than ES wheels) 235/40 R18 Indy 500’s. And Redline MT-LV gear oil in my transmission (much better than what hyundai puts in). She gets down pretty well.

I recently put MT-LV gear oil in my EN and the shifting feels a lot smoother with it.
@@elantran Yes! It really makes an impact. I was very skeptical until I put it in, and like everyone else in our ELANTRA sport community said it really helps the dual clutch and it shifts faster and you can actually feel it shift more aggressively with it!
@@AlexGtheDon That's great to hear! Yeah I felt the shifting got smoother after I did a gear oil change, too. Redline makes some great gear oil for sure. haha

Used this mount and attached a magsafe cell phone holder to it.

When do the training wheels come off?
How did you set up the inside camera?
I used a 3M gopro mount and stuck onto the dome light cover and used a 7" extension arm to get the angle I wanted.
How is the ride quality on the street with the softest suspension setting? Is it similar to Elantra N line suspension?
I don't know how N line suspension feels but ride quality is great with 'normal' suspension setting. I daily drove this car in first few months and I thought the ride was very smooth but I come from cars with stiff suspension so some may say otherwise.
@@elantran I had first gen BRZ before, and that car's ride quality was stiff and daily drivable except when it went over big bumps sometimes it hurt my back. I have Kia Forte GT manual now, and this one is also firm as the old BRZ, but going over harsh bumps, it smooths it out very nicely and doesn't hurt my back anymore. And the suspension is still sporty and doing really good job going around corners.
