I decided to buy a watch protection kit as I wanted to keep my Rolex free from scratches and marks.
I opted for a kit by The Watch Protection Company. I bought the full set which will protect the clasp, oyster bracelet and case.
Everose Gold is very prone to scratches so I am hoping this kit keeps my Rolex Rootbeer looking brand new.
I have also read that the film is multi layered meaning if you scratch the film it can be heated up with a hair dryer and the scratched area will heal out.
The material is also suitable for water, meaning you can still swim in your watch after applying the PPF kit.
I will make an update video in a couple of months time to see how the kit has handled real life wear and tear.
Don’t get these people saying wear as intended. Do people wrap cars with PPF yes. I own and spent £23k on one of my watches and being the sort of person who looks after things want to protect it. People who say wear as intended either don’t have a watch worth protecting, can’t afford a watch worth protecting or don’t mind scratching things to hell. Nothing wrong with wearing and protecting people
Looks great, part of me thinks its kinda silly but on the other hand I have had this on my car for 8 years still looks great and has prevented a ton of rock chips since the roads where I live are complete trash, hopefully your watch will age well also. It would be cool if you post an update as it gets some wear.
Its ok to protect yr investments. Ppl cant mind their own business.
They can be complain about your watch but they are the same kind that puts protective layer on their white shoes. Or a protective layer on their cars
Some people have nothing better to do.
I own the 126622 slate and want my baby looking great
Well said! Stunning watch! 😃
I've always been that gut that's okay with a little scuffing, but most of my watches are steel. I recently started wearing a pinky ring that's a soft metal, and noticing the scratches a lot. If I ever get a solid gold watch i might consider a ppf
Mate, just wear it as it was intended. These kits are a waste of time. Then when it comes to service time, it comes back looking like new again.
Issue is that polishing will remove materials. Some ppl like their watches prestine even they dont intend to sell it.
Rolex for example has a very bad habit to remove plenty of material when polishing as they want their watch looking good(depending how bad yr watch was). They dont care if yr watch dont have the shape edges anymore
That makes big difference in the feel of yr watch and since yr paying alot for it. That matters alot. Also if yr watch has precious metals, youre having lesser of it when polishing.
Highly recommended for those who want to take care of their pieces that they worked hard for. These things work wonders, I bought a couple for my rolex 126603 over the last 2 years and this has protected the steel and yellow gold from scratches especially around the clasp. Just make sure you get from a reliable source that offers quality films. Forget those commenting "just wear it" and to "let the watch age as intended" as these keyboard warriors have probably never owned a luxury piece before
Can you recommend any brands? :)
@@catherinejohnson2762 Tudor gmt Pepsi, sold mine before is got my submariner.
Absolutely miss it, my submariner made me miss my tudor Pepsi.
Never know what you have till it’s gone.
it is a brilliant idea, especially for watches that can't be refinished easily. For example, a Royal Oak or Nautilus Bezel. Even Patek won't rebrush them now.
good video. I put this on my 2 tone Datejust. I skipped the Jubilee links
Thanks mate! I have done the same with mine !
Hey, don't listen to these negative comments about being a man and all that bullshit. 21st century and ignorant people still seem to prevail. Leave him alone. He is as entitled as you are to do as he pleases. Stop judging and start accepting that others are different from you. If you can't see that others are different from you, then it's because you've surrounded yourself with your like. Then stay in your circle and stop spreading your bullshit.
I thinking that if you apply this product to a gold plated watch, it should prevent the plating from rubber off; especially under the wrist area.
I would think so yes
Absolutely brilliant. Purchased immediately.
Thanks mate! Its amazing! Im just waiting for my sprite stickers. Im going to be using another companies as they have agreed to sponsor my next video, so keep an eye out for my honest review :)
Looks stunning nice watch 👍🏾👌🏽
I'm thinking of doing so on my watch. I don't care about negative comments about this protector. But what I do concern is the dirt around the edge of the film, time will tell.
Had it on now for months and it’s the best decision I’ve made! May need a re application ever year, but that’s fine as long as it protects the watch ( in my opinion) it’s totally take the worry off resting the watch on my desk and other surfaces
@@Experienceitwithadam I agree. My watch is JLC reverso and after watching some review, the negative comments of this JLC is the soft case and easily get hairlines and scratches. So I don't know why so many seem not happy with the scratches but still don't want the film protector. Very confuse hehehe
Fantastic video, I think PPF is underrated. Where do you recommend I could buy the film from?
Has the protection still maintained it self well after a year?
I just ordered the half kit after watching your review. Hopefully is good.
Brill mate! Hope you enjoy it
Just fitted the WPF was quite fiddly . Just have to leave for 24 hours now to fully dry.
@@pauljackson6593 awesome mate! Took me ages on the first go! Haha
Didn’t like the look with the stickers. And noted that the tweezers actually scratched the high polish on the watch. Is most probably my fault as I didn’t fit them properly. Took all the stickers off.. wouldn’t recommend. £50 wasted!
Beautiful great job thank you!
Anytime! im reviewing a new company this week :)
All the people hating probably put protection film on their phones.
completely agree mate!
I’m thinking of doing the same to my DJ, does it change the “feeling” of the watch ie, does the protection take away that feel of the metal bracelet and feel rubbery from the sticker?
Just done my DJ last week! Message me on insta and I’ll show you some photos and videos
Yorkshire_timepieces
I just did my new Starbucks! And it looks amazing
Got exact same watch coming soon - so was wondering how the stickers hold up
You still happy with the product?
Very happy mate! Kept the watch safe! Even worked well in water!
@@Experienceitwithadam ooo that was my concern! Was thinking it might fall off in water
I’m ordering one for my date just too 👍thanks for replying
@@Gooddaytosavelives412 Awesome mate! Let me know what you think! I love keeping mine in a like new condition, so it was a must have for my watches
How has this product held up as it’s been 2 years now?
Really good mate, watch is like new. However i did change the stickers after last years summer holiday as I like to swim with my watches and this did slightly lift some of the sticker. However for the price I think its completely worth it
I got the rootbeer and put the same company film on. After 24 hrs it looked great. But once I started sweating the part of each bracelet link where the rose gold touches the ss parts started to bubble a little. The film on the link is like a w where it’s connected and those points looked a little nasty. Just enough for me to take it all off. Did you run across this same issue? Great watch btw!
If I had to do all that shit to my watch I just wouldn't buy an expensive one...
Be a Man and wear your Rolex like it was intended. That wrap will look horrid once all the dirt and grim gets in and around the wrap.
I’d rather be a women and have my watch remain in a beautiful condition 😂
This is such a dumb comment...🤦🏻♂️
The only thing I could agree on is the dirt concern
I have one and you literally can’t tell it’s own there.
I really like that this is possible. Ignore the "just wear it" comments. It's your piece and your decision. You'll always have haters no matter what you do, really - especially online lol. Have fun with your watch!
I HATE scratches - so this is amazing idea for sure
Keep watch price up as well
Funny thing is it's not even effective 😂
I bought a ceramic coating from the watch protect company … any tips on how to remove it
Stunning looking timepiece, please take good care of it and keep it always clean because it is an expensive piece of art
Thank you Al! Completely agree!
Just looks silly to be honest, what are you protecting?? The resale value
Do not put this silly stickers on your shiny Rolex, your preserving it for the next person enjoy it, if you hide from a scratch you will be bothered when you get one, and you will, also they allow dust and dirt to build up under the stickers which can also cause scratches
Stickers are pretty much invisible and will protect the gold from bangs and dings.
@@Experienceitwithadam They are not invisible, they destroy the shimmer of metal
@@Hodlshark definitely don’t. In person it’s completely unoticeable
I’ve always looked after my belongings this well but tbh it’s just better to enjoy them
@@Experienceitwithadam i agree cant see the stickers on mine and does not affect the shine, these other comments from people that probably havent even seen or used the kit lol
Just get a couple of Pagani’s to kick around look exactly the same
Hi, where is it possible to order?
How is the ppf holding up? Have you noticed it trapping any dirt underneath?
Been really good mate! I have on the batgirl! Only because I took it swimming. But overall it’s still pretty amazing!
@@Experienceitwithadam thanks good to hear.
I’m more focused about protecting the gold links on my bimetal yacht master. I know that the brushed stainless can take more of a thrashing so probably wouldn’t apply the film to those areas.
@@georgerobinson9110 I did exactly the same mate! new video coming :)
Thanks for posting this - have a 126603 coming soon and I want the Rolesor to stay looking minty.
Amazing to see how fragile and offended people are about other people respecting and taking care of their own property.
In Taiwan this is a service offered at the AD level and I'd imagine it's not the only country that does this.
Great video, where is the blue watch box from? Thanks!
That looks like a watch case with a Zelos logo who is a watchmaker. Please correct if i am wrong
hello it actually came from Trotters Jewellers, they did an instagram give away and I won one haha
Amazing! Can’t even tell it’s on! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Hey is there an update on how these held up over a year? I have a DJ41 i just got and the shiny bits are attracting scratches like crazy. I know i can just get it polished however overtime that kills the lines of the watch as you are removing material each time. I’ve sent one of my Rolex watches back to rolex and it came back looking literally brand new i thought they gave me a new one 😅 but it cost a fortune to get them to do all that this may be easier. I bought this from a different company (watch shells) it sucks and doesn’t go edge to edge.
Hello my friend! New video coming Friday! I’ve just wrapped my brand new Sprite! I also have a 20% off code provided by the company who’s kit I used! Keep eyes peeled for the video!
I completely agree, I don’t want to polish my watches but also love them looking brand new!
If you don't want it scratched then don't wear it. Even better let someone else but the watch so that they will enjoy it the way it's meant to be
Or you can do what you want with your own watch 🤷🏽♂️
any website where i can buy this product, thanks🙏🏻
Yes my mate - Watch Protection Company
website?I search and there’s so many
@@mauriciovelez2194 Hello I have added a link in the description and a discount code
Whahahaha, then you think you've seen everything, someone comes along who is afraid of scratches on his Rolex...😂 A Rolex is a workhorse, scratches are part of it, that gives it character.
Respectfully why on earth did you click this video if you don’t care about scratching your Rolex? 😂

How do rate the quality and are the stickers pealing off?
Hi update video coming soon! Quality is great, non have peeled off. I go on holiday next month so will also try them in the pool
I was expecting to see comments about whether it’s worth it or not and instead it’s 50% people saying that the concept of the product is dumb (what????) and the other half saying “no it’s not dumb I’ll do what I want.” Do people have no lives? Preaching to others about whether they should use a similar product? Get back to work!
I bought it few days ago half kit . Had trouble fitting. And found the tweezers scratched the high polish if you weren’t careful placing on . I didn’t like the look of them took all off . £50 wasted.
Strange when you go on the website there are no reviews.
I need to wrap my house. I am sick of bird poop.
Are you able to swim with them on?
Yes, I’m going to take it on holiday with me and give it a full test. 😄
What? why do you need to put that shit on the watch? Come on
To stop damage…
@@Experienceitwithadam you don't have to. just wear it as what it's supposed to be and change the parts few years down the road.
if cost is a concern, buy/wear something cheaper.
my 2 cents. thanks.
Or you can do what you want with your own watch 🤷🏽♂️
@@JayJay-he9bk of course, it's always our own choice.
Now a vídeo teaching how to remove it after 3 years
Confused?
@@Experienceitwithadam do you know how remove it?
you got a plastic watch now, congratulation. make sure no scrathes have been done on it and when you die it looks like you had nothing to do with the watch.
Who cares at that point
Bro it’s a watch 😂😂😂 just wear it
Great review 👏 👌 👍 🙌 😀
Thank you so much! 🙌🏼
Stickers on a watch tells me you bought it on a credit card and have no business wearing it.
Lol tells me you don’t take care of your belongings
@@Experienceitwithadam Why can't people just be nice. I was looking to do the same thing to my new watch (which I purchased with a credit card) but didn't know if it was worth it. I appreciate you making this video.
Smells hate from 100,000 miles away
What a comment from someone who probably wears a swatch 😂
Se jodio el cafe😂
Rolex film = gay
What a strange thing to do. PPF your watch. Just wear it bro. Get it cleaned and polished. Weirdo.
