Thanks so much to everyone who bought a JUST GO RIDE shirt!! Make sure to head over to The Singletrack Sampler tomorrow to see the start of the next adventure!
Oh you know it! Hell who knew it was possible to be so excited to see someone customise a van! Super interesting to me how much more connected we are to you guys as our fav RUclips channels , vs old media - something I'm sure you are all about Brian!
Black Diamond MTB yeah black diamond - STS is documenting the build of his van and will be putting out regular videos on the topic, as will BKXC and Seth I believe 🤘
Thanks for shooting this Brian. I was there the same day, and rode the same trails. Also added Mammoth Bar. Rocky’s was super gnar! Bummer that we missed you. Hit me up when you want to check out some of the local Nevada City goods
Ah great vid, These trails are where I started MTB Riding years ago. I can't wait to go back and visit and ride there again over the holidays this year!
Hey Brian yet another great video every time my receipt from patreon pops up in my inbox I get a smile on my face because I know there will another cool video to check out keep up the good work...👍
Niccccce vid Bri 👌🏻 awesome trails, perfect spring weather yesterday in the Lake district Cumbria and today it pissed it down solid ha! Bring on the summer months 🤟🏻
rain in ireland has been going for roughly 6 months. you got it good brian kennedy, you got it good!!!! just checked my favourite trails yesterday and they are absolutely destroyed from the wet riding! and still more rain on the way all summer probably!!
Always Up for some Cali. riding!!! I might even make it up there this summer!!! Auburn better Watch Out, Only The Bold Project & the BMW (Big Mexican Wonder) maybe rolling through!!!
Inspired to ride because of this video. Weather in BKXC's video: Sunny, presumably warm, and dry. Weather in my area: oh look, snowing again? fuck it, i'm going anyway!
That spot you got hung up on Rocky is super hard to get going again. That last section needs momentum to get through. Always a next time. It was fun to see you in my backyard. Interesting to see what parts of the trail you put in the final cut.
It’s soooooooooo nice to hear a quiet hub man , I’m so sick of my Hope hubs zzzzzzzz💤💤💤Zzzzz , 👍🏽👍🏽🤟🏾🌲🌳 nice trail bro huckin it single track bumpy style Nice 👍🏽👍🏽
God I would love to make it out to California some day! Still waiting on spring here in NY. I rode my sb4.5 for the first time Saturday and the high was 28 degrees. And now more snow for tomorrow. WTF!! Great video man!
Brian, I just got an evo gimbal but am having a difficult time getting it working properly upon impact and jumping. It bounces. I use a stuntman chesty, do you have any special ways of keeping your chesty from moving? Any gimbal settings you found work good for our type of sport? Thank you so much man -Garrett
My Joe Blow pump gauge is high too by ~3psi. Checked against my Topeak digital gauge. But as long as it’s consistent and you know right? Trail looked fun. A little chunk, rut and flow. Nice riding.
Damn Brian, I wish I would have known you were going to be in Auburn. Those are my "go to" trails. I would have used a sick day at work and joined you guys! I thought I had ridden ALL the trails up there but you hit two that did not look familiar to me towards the end of the video. Hmmmm.........
Brilliant video with stunning scenery...Reminds me of the bow river in Banff Alberta! Can I ask you which way your gimbal is mounted ? Is the screw port on the base of it facing your chest or facing the ground ? Also do you have a lens protector on the GoPro ? Thanks Brian
So... what air pressure should be in a 27.5 tubeless tire.. say a 2.3 in front and a 2.25 in the rear..if your biking over some rocks and dirt? Some say lower in front than the rear... if you can do a video on that would be great... so different variations on the tube... thx BKXC
Cole Trickel hi cole . I usually ride Walnut Creek here in Austin. Kinda rocky really. I’m running tubeless. I had thought a higher pressure would slide over rocks than grip it. I had heard 25 Ish... I only weigh 185
Robert Wehlau you are mostly right. A higher pressure will not grip the rocks as well. They will slide but that will probably be due to them bouncing from the impact, a lower pressure will let the tire deform around the rock and grip it while keeping your speed. 25psi is a good start just don't want to be rim bouncing on the rocks
Thanks so much to everyone who bought a JUST GO RIDE shirt!! Make sure to head over to The Singletrack Sampler tomorrow to see the start of the next adventure!
BKXC Yeah man, I bought one as well, loved the stuff out there on the site!
Oh you know it! Hell who knew it was possible to be so excited to see someone customise a van! Super interesting to me how much more connected we are to you guys as our fav RUclips channels , vs old media - something I'm sure you are all about Brian!
BKXC I'm sure it will be exciting time for the next couple of weeks for Alex! :)
T.s.s is making a new video?
Black Diamond MTB yeah black diamond - STS is documenting the build of his van and will be putting out regular videos on the topic, as will BKXC and Seth I believe 🤘

It was a treat!
Any time you guys want to make the road trip up here, I can show you around!
Thanks for shooting this Brian. I was there the same day, and rode the same trails. Also added Mammoth Bar.
Rocky’s was super gnar!
Bummer that we missed you.
Hit me up when you want to check out some of the local Nevada City goods

Haha, holding my breath!
The Orbea is a mean machine, super nice bike. Can't wait to see the one you ordered.
I can't wait either!!
I subscribed when seeing a vid from you in Auburn, year later now it still looks awsome.
That's awesome! Full circle!
Wow that grass is green in some parts! Reminds me of your africa trip. Nice ride, keep it up
Definitely reminds me of Africa in some of the spots!
Beautiful! Nice ride 🤘🚵♂️🇨🇦
Thanks man!!
Wish I could make it up to NorCal more often. These trails look like a blast! SoCal needs to up their trail game.
There's a lot of gold in NorCal
I'm like Tom Brady- can tell what pressure it is, with just a squeeeeeeze!!
Hey Don, my grandmother can bunny hop higher than you!! Tell Brian, that sometimes the best lines aren't the fastest.
Hahaha
don christie sometimes the fastest lines are not the funnest 🤘
That's what big travel is for-fun👊(Fist pump)
don christie seriously..
I am just heading off to bed so I will watch this video tomorrow.
😁👍
It's snowing again in MN. Looks pretty damn good there right now. So ready for dry dirt.
Oh man!! Brutal spring
Inspired to ride because of this video. Weather in BKXC's video: Sunny, presumably warm, and dry. Weather in my area: oh look, snowing again? fuck it, i'm going anyway!
Haha yep, always sunny in CALI
Awesome stuff Brian. That trail looked hard work!
It was! Hard and fun!
Beautiful trail, awesome ride!
Thanks!
Rain erosion makes for some gnarly "features". Dabbing all day and lovin' every second of it! ✌️
So, what was it that Cole hit? lol
Haha it was spicy! We weren't able to figure out what he hit!
Great looking trail
Thanks Nathan!
Cole is the man! Got to meet him and ride with him at Demo at your group ride. Class act dude!
Hell yeah! Thanks Orbie
In Colorado we are super fortunate to have several active trail crews (COMBA comes to mind) who work hard doing trail maintenance.
That's awesome!
That spot you got hung up on Rocky is super hard to get going again. That last section needs momentum to get through. Always a next time. It was fun to see you in my backyard. Interesting to see what parts of the trail you put in the final cut.
Man, so many tough spots! I've gotta get back and hit Rocky again
Love to see u guys in my backyard
Awesome, glad to be there!
Happy (late) birthday Cole!
😁👍
I love Auburn!
It’s a blast!
BKXC you should save yourself the pedal and do Northstar sometime 👍
Rocky is brutal. I've only worked up the courage to do it twice on my hardtail.
Haha, damn, that's pretty good!
It’s soooooooooo nice to hear a quiet hub man , I’m so sick of my Hope hubs zzzzzzzz💤💤💤Zzzzz , 👍🏽👍🏽🤟🏾🌲🌳 nice trail bro huckin it single track bumpy style Nice 👍🏽👍🏽
Yeah, the noisy hubs are cool at first, but I think it gets a little old.
Another fun ride nuggets!!!!
Thanks Peter!
YAY NEW VID FROM BRIAN!!
😁👍
God I would love to make it out to California some day! Still waiting on spring here in NY. I rode my sb4.5 for the first time Saturday and the high was 28 degrees. And now more snow for tomorrow. WTF!! Great video man!

Hell yeah, I hope I can get there!
Nice video man. Great shredding!
Thanks!
I use the chest strap from my Osprey Raptor to keep it cinched down
Thanks dude.
I’m 5,8 toll what size you recommend?
I’m home sick today I missed work and it’s raining 🌧 And I’m watching all your videos!👍😎 what the “hell” 🤮LoL
Ahh man, brutal!
Where exactly r these trails.? Edit.. found it on Strava!!
Amazing !!!!!
Thanks bud!
What was the trail you did right after Stonewall? Did you climb the double track to the left and do one of the OHV trails?
Strava in the description!
Hi BK. Awesome video. Might go ride there tomorrow. Any idea about the amount of poison oak on the trails?
I haven't been back, not sure! Check Trailforks and see if anyone has submitted a report.
My Joe Blow pump gauge is high too by ~3psi. Checked against my Topeak digital gauge. But as long as it’s consistent and you know right? Trail looked fun. A little chunk, rut and flow. Nice riding.
Exactly, if it's consistent then you're good!
Rut central!! nice place to ride intense!!!
Haha yep!
Damn Brian, I wish I would have known you were going to be in Auburn. Those are my "go to" trails. I would have used a sick day at work and joined you guys! I thought I had ridden ALL the trails up there but you hit two that did not look familiar to me towards the end of the video. Hmmmm.........
Haha there's always more out there!
whats the size of your rallon and whats your height? I'm 5.7 and I bought the S/M size.. and did you cut your handlebar from the original 800mm?
I'm 5'10" and I went with large. Handlebars are original
I'm 5'8 and I went with LG too! but I'm going with a 35mm stem and I'm going to reduce the handlebar to 760mm.. the rallon is a very sick bike!
Thanks dude. Check out my "everything I carry on an MTB ride" video from last week, I have a shot of my gimbal setup.
BKXC Ah cheers pal!
I appreciate the conversation titles. You should sell BKXC fenders like you’ve got on your bike!
Yeah, it's tough to send stuff out when I'm always traveling!
IDK how Cole can take shots of espresso on rides like these, I would have to shit off my bike if I did.
Amazing footage as usual
Hahaha, iron stomach!
awesome vid! off topic question. Are you going to the sea otter classic? would be be doing the mbt tour???
I'm hoping to hit up the Sunday of Sea Otter!
BKXC I hope to see you there!
i was in sac from the 14th to 26th ... seemed like it rained the whole time or everything was wet.
Definitely!
Worth staying up for
Haha nice
Good stuff (as always)
Thanks Marin!
was there this weekend them rocks were slipry
Nice!
The Big Guy sends!
Big time!
Sweet trails, look like a lot of fun Brian! Hey out of interest how durable have you found that custom stem cap you run?
The stem cap hasn't been crashed on, so far it's durable!
BKXC cool thanks man 👍
So Brian if you’re helping with the van build ! Does that mean you have brought your Dad along 😀??
Hahaha, a lot of people were hoping I did in the live stream last night!
I have a feeling your not on the west coast now, lol great video brian
You're right about that!
Very mixed terrain there. Curious (my little experiment), wich chain lube you use ? And wich chain lube is your preffered lube ?
Nice vid like always.
I use Rock N Roll Extreme, seems to work!
Keep up the great vids, great inspiration. I’m 14 and am starting mtb, just need a better bike first
Awesome dude!
So... what air pressure should be in a 27.5 tubeless tire.. say a 2.3 in front and a 2.25 in the rear..if your biking over some rocks and dirt? Some say lower in front than the rear... if you can do a video on that would be great... so different variations on the tube... thx BKXC
Robert Wehlau it depends on your weight and riding style and terrain. I run around 27psi out front and about 31psi out back
Just gotta feel it out for yourself! Start with 30 for tubes
Cole Trickel I’ll start out with 25. Have before with no flats or issues. Thx again cole
Mate you should come down to Australia and ride some of the trails down here. I would love to show you around
I've been! I'd like to get back
Better be comfortable on doing hiline or else your rear derailleur's broken! Nice riding man. Always love your videos! Keep it up
Thanks so much dude!
What are the downhill sections called After culvert trail?
Not sure, I've got my Strava in the description
Great video Brian!!🤘🏼 what’s the name of those trails. thanks.
Thanks dude. Strava link in the description!
So many great places to ride! I need to do a tour de Left Coast.
It never ends, dude! So many great places.
Eres enormee!!!! 💕💕
😁👍
Any chance you might come ride in the Northeast? Massachusetts is almost thawed out haha
I hope so this summer!
That's our backyard. What does it take to get u out on the good stuff?
Email me!
Trail mix & expresso shot = possible shred formula? Awesome video
Haha super charger!
If you think California has been wet, you should try England! :)
Haha!
Dude generic trail mix is also my thing, just adopted it last week ha ha.
Nice!! Cheap and easy and delicioso
Brian- I was thinking of who you remind me of...Have you ever seen that TV show Legion? You look like the star Dan Stevens!
Haha, I just googled it, I see it!!
Brian... Told ya! I said in a comment it looked & sounded like either tire pressure or fork was set up too hard.
Haha, I was saying the pump reads too hard, which means the tire is too soft
Man your bar is wider than my career prospects
Hahaha
You should race the socal enduro series at vail lake
Probably gonna be out traveling!
