Hi , I have a 2012 S550 I need to change the rear pad and rotors just needed to know that I could push the calipers pistons back normally or do I need to release the brake electronicly with scanner since there is an electric emergency brake on this car? Thank you
Did you have to do anything with the electronic brakes? Do we have to enter into a service mode and open the electronic parking brake manually or nothing to be done ?
I see a commercial box brake pad and not the original. You will hear a clicking sound on the clipper when you press the brake pedal especially when you replace the front brak pads with non-original product This is s-class that does not accept anything other than the original.

Nothing to do pads...not 100% sure on the rotors, but I'd guess just disengage the parking brake like any other vehicle. Thanks for watching!
When I do a brake replecament, should the gear being in P or N ? Or it does not matter? Thank you!
That doesn't matter as long as the parking brake is off and your wheels are safely blocked/supported (or you're up on a lift). Thanks for watching!
Do I have to do anything to reset the message on my dash
You should not need to at all. Thanks for watching!
You have missed the most important part of installation...😢
We’re do you get T 30 screw ?
You can find those types of tools on Amazon easily. Thanks for watching!

No issues with the Akebonos I installed, including any clicks. I've rarely had any issues with aftermarket pads on any vehicle. Thanks for watching!
Did this on mine with brembo pads, no issue so far, where did you read that these cars do not accept anything but original spare parts ???
