My fiance and I met through a mutual friend, on Facebook of all places. We continued to talk for 3 years then grew apart. Gage had made a post online about the new Say Anything album, Anarchy My Dear. I at the time HAD NO idea about who Say Anything was, yet I messaged him relying on Wikipedia for information. We reconnected and ended up meeting at Warped Tour in person for the first time. I knew at that moment I wanted to be with him, and he knew the same. Before hand Gage had seen Say Anything twice, we then saw them in May and gotten a set list. In 2017 we attended Riot Fest, and saw Say Anything... While I was pregnant. It was one of my daughter's first concerts! In the 3 1/2 years we've purchased a house, started a family, been to numerous concerts, and in July of 2017 Gage proposed to me! His mom and step dad's song is The Glory Of Love. We constantly listen to say anything and its hard to say goodbye. Thank you for everything. In a funny way, if it wasn't for say anything my fiance and I probably wouldn't be together. ❤️
Another great acoustic performance :) Thanks for all the years of music, your art got me through high school crap, falling in love, lost love, and now its taken me into adulthood and fatherhood its been the soundtrack to my life haha. What youve done is incredible and i cant wait to see whats next.

I teared up listening to Max's voice again... For real. Gonna miss their shows, I feel more akin to Max his band and his records now more than ever... It's bittersweet because I do want him to be happier.
Damn, Max is really the only artist I find genuinely great without studio processing. Also, the only artist to consistently put out music where I buy the whole album for years.
This just popped up in my recommendations today. Having the opportunity to see this live was a magical experience and I can’t thank you enough for doing that solo tour. I never got to see Say Anything despite them being my favorite band. Thank you for the years of bringing comfort and peace to many, Max. Genuinely good hearted people who just appreciate the hell out of your music who take solace in the avenue you provide to vent and express their emotions. You didn't stay the same as artist, you took chances and grew and encapsulated your new perspectives in life with just as much passion and wit as the you did at the start. I will definitely follow your future work and have some comics to catch up on....I hope you do some kind of live performance in the distant future just so I can re-live that experience one more time but I understand if you don't.
