watching this in 2019...my heart is so full thinking of max and sherri now husband and wife, and now their three babies together💖💕
Say anything does this thing where their music transports you to that awkward in-between of innocence and entering that part of your life you were never prepared for. I will never not listen to this song without thinking of the boy that sat next to me in my freshman english class. He loved Say Anything. I always thought he was the coolest. I learned years later he was into me too. Eight years have passed since then. I will never not listen to this song without thinking of him. I will never not feel like a freshman in high school even though I'm a fifth year in college. Things stick with you. We will always be innocent at heart. Life goes by so fast.

Max Bemis is just... real... get me? I've never heard a more genius songwriter i swear. Say Anything is so dynamic. No song sounds the same. One could be filled with rage, one with love, longing, loneliness. Hands down amazing musicians. Underrated.
He's something else
You can tell that song really moves something inside of him emotionally. The whole time his hands were shaking and at the end he could barely hold it together. What an amazing musician. Don't hold back.

His emotion live is just amazing. You can tell how much the song means to him from his singing and you can hear it in the "thank you" at the end. I want him to make a cd of just him, and an acoustic. That'd be fantastic.

Incredible music... all Say Anything's stuff comes from a place very close to the heart, and encompasses every basis of emotion... anger, fear, hate, love, happiness, joy, ecstasy, rebellion. It's all there. Gotta love it.
