I had the previous shape Outback, supremely comfortable and relaxing, you could drive it all day and not get tired. I can imagine this is even better. Not cheap to run but a fantastic car for all road and weather conditions.
Very nice car, but needing to floor it on on-ramps doesn't exactly spell confidence for me if I was the driver. Where'd you find a 169hp Outback? Here in NA, the base 2.5 has 182hp and the XT has 260hp. I know the Australian XT is slightly down on power around 245hp but is the base 2.5 Aussie Outback also down on power compared to NA? If so, I wonder why that's the case.
I had the previous Outback in the UK. It had similar BHP and I never needed to floor it anywhere, not even joining motorways. Most Subaru videos, they are driven badly with very little patience or knowledge of the CVT as to how they are designed to work. You need to build the power up, not make the engine work harder than the CVT. As for the standing start on the slip road, thats just reckless and puts himself and others at risk to do what, a 0-60 time ? Nobody should come to a stop on them, you watch the traffic and merge into a gap in traffic. You do this by keeping moving ! Aside from that ridiculous behaviour, he should have put it in “S” mode if he really needed to perform that nonsense. It makes a big difference, I know, I had one and on hilly country roads it could fly very easily with very little effort. Seriously, it’s an art form but reviewers don’t seem to know that.
@@JoeBlack9 Dwa pytanka odnosnie Subaru Outback.

It has less power in Europe due to emissions policy enforced here.
Otherwise the engine would actually be a 182hp one.

@@cezarycezary69Hi mate. According to your description. It’s suspected a gearbox mount issue.

CVT w subaru się trzeba nauczyć, nie ma co wgniatać pedał w podłogę, bo to nic nie daje
Subaru baracca.
It seems wrong to drive a Subaru without a camouflage coat, chest waders and a big dog. 🎣🐾
The interior sounds so noisy!
Why i bought suzuki...
