The Star Ace Harryhausen line has made up a majority of my recent X-plus pick ups. They have been amazing! I passed on the Kraken bust but I think I am going to bite the bullet on the Cyclops bust once it goes up for pre-order. The Cyclops is one of my top 5 movie monsters of all time. Like you I am eagerly waiting the announcement of the Dragon. I have a hunch it will be late 2023 / early 2024 because at the December 2022 Super Fest they had the two-horned Cyclops on display which was the one that battled the Dragon.
In terms of the Godzilla stuff I will probably only pick up the Deforeal Godzilla 2003. I am on the fence about the GigaDefo G54. I love the design/details but I think I am going to hold out in hopes they continue with other suits that are my favorites ('62, '89, '99). Interesting that the poses for the first two gigadefo's are the same as the original defo's, just more detail. If so I hope they change up the 62 haha.
The busts are insanely cool, if they weren't pumping this stuff out at such a fast rate alongside the kaiju stuff, I may actually have paid them more mind. I also somehow missed that two-horned Cyclops, wasn't paying enough attention I guess lol.
Nice picks for the Gigadefos, I'd definitely be tempted by 62 and 99. I can see why they went how they did with Shin and 54, but I agree the 62 probably should be a new sculpt (as much as I love the little one). Definitely gonna keep an eye on that line, quite a few curveballs in these reveals
I felt underwhelmed by what they showed, but I'm rather glad for that as the last year was just crazy as far as all they put out that I got.
I've never liked the train biter concept before, but I like this one. It reminds me of a dog chewing on a bone. Hopefully I can pick it up.
