I think the entire Valentino Uomo line is underrated. Curious to try this one.
Because the born in Roma edt was weak in performance literally gone in a hour
depens what formulation you got, i got the old one with the cap protection thingy, good performance
they smell so good but too bad perfomance

Yes agree with everyone else, amazing for the first half hour then its just a skin scent. the reality is, most of the scents i like are now awful at performance. 5 years ago dior would have lasted 24 hours and projected so much it would make me feel sick in the morning with a hangover. Now its also gone in a hour. industry wide their has been a move towards this strategy to maximize profits.
I feel born in Roma is underatted. When it settles down to the base after the sweet opening I get alot of compliments.

I tried it recently and I liked it better than all the other Valentinos including the original. I can see myself using it for romantic dates.
Getting rid of the iris for this flanker was a good idea, in my opinion. I kinda liked the Valentino DNA but the iris would put me off.

Lately, i've been really loving vanilla focused frags. I'm going to get me a bottle of Born in Roma Intense for my collection. But, i'd like to see a comparison of this frag and Boss The Scent Magnetic. I think a lot of followers would like to see this battle. In fact, i am going to suggest this on several sites of frag community critics because i am that curious to see what they all think of this comparison. Maybe Mercedes Benz Club Black could be included.
I tried it today at Nordstrom’s. I like it.
I just came from Nordstrom where I got the fragrance section for the first time and was blown away by what they have out to let you try. I tried all Valentino Oumo's out and this was good. I actually liked the OG most. Smells like a more expensive Invictus, which I love as a body spray out of the shower.

The noir absolu is HEAVY on iris so I hated it and sold

Great breakdown and video. I got this born in Roma Intense last week while i must admit that it was elegantly blended and a dazzling sweet floral scent that instantly gave me Barbershop vibes. I rate this Fragrance 8.5 out 10.

Now they need do an intense version of yellow dream. Valentino Born in Roma line is great as far as smell but you have to apply 30% of the bottle to make it performance longer than the rides from home to work.
Maybe you just have a bad batch? Sprayed myself 3 times this morning with the intense and can still smell it quite well at 8 pm.
I don’t have the intense yet. Was referring to Yellow Dream it seems to be the fairly weaker than the others but to me my favorite to smell. Have gotten compliments when worn but it’s within that first hour of air and personal bubble.
Will have to smell the intense but kind of heard it to be along the same lines as YSL Y intense and Givenchy Gentleman Society (nice smells but nothing that you have to buy if you own one or two in the line).

Man this was hard to get in Australia, was out of stock everywhere for months! Finally got one and I definitely get YSL Y dna type of vibe. I really like it but beware, you cannot spray this on white shirts as it’ll stain. Wore it out on my birthday and got multiple compliments.

I would say you can use it for both occasions. it’s a quite calm, warm and sweet scent (the intense one)
