Despite Teen Titans not being animated overseas in Japan, the show could have been designed by a few Japanese anime artists because some characters in the show look like anime characters. After all, the show was created by a Japanese person.
@@AniGamerNX it was less that it was violent and more that Korra was appealing to an older age range than they wanted/expected. It’s unfortunate because I think if Nick had made an attempt to appeal to teens and older with an adult swim style nighttime block it could have been really successful. The Oedipal tension is the overriding meme. The vulnerability of side characters is powerful, but, like with war, is quickly buried in the plot breadth, complexity, and pace.

Keep it up on your work and this channel
I broke up with Teen Titans and The Boondocks for now because I've seen those shows like a hundred times, during my teenage years and 20s.
i think Sonic satam looks like a anime ps cat valentine
13:32 Watch the Queen's Gambit, it is very like a live action anime it even has twins LOL
This man deserves a raise.
This also applies to the french industry , wakfu code lyoko foot2rue ect ect
Ok. Why aren't people talking about made in abyss?
What Western show took inspiration from that anime?
Even the design of Craig McCracken's The Powerpuff Girls from 1998 (and their rebooted counterparts from 2016) are influenced by the simple design of Sanrio's Hello Kitty anime.
Tim plz do a video on Inuyasha love your retrospect and timelines videos💖👍🔥
This was a great video.
I do have to say though... timestamp 10:10 seems like an odd shot to share, when that seemed...kinda influenced by Yellow Submarine. Not anime XD But that's just me being a turd. Carry on. This was a fantastic video :3 Buuuuut, no mention of Steven Universe here...?
Edit: Yes! please do a video on Kurosawa!!!! That would be amazing! I've waited to long to post XD
missed you Tim
I don't know who this guy is, but he needs to be here more because she's awesome and funny as hell

Love 💕 yourself first and most
Don't give up and never give in
To be fair, the monster in the Japanese opening of X-Men are Brood who are from the comics
Has anyone read or seen "Invincible" ? I think there are some one punch man vibes there.
Invincible is a good effort, with adult situations and a really complex backstory. The hard part is its reliance on a few basic conflicts and its "unkillable" central figure. The Oedipal tension is the overriding meme. The vulnerability of side characters is powerful, but, like with war, is quickly buried in the plot breadth, complexity, and pace.
The Invincible comic came out before the OPM webcomic.
@@ericstanford8153 Thanks i am well aware of that. My point was to illustrate it's animated version made think of the super hero society in one punch is all.
Yes please do the reverse. You can do an episode on how the anime industry as a whole is based on Disney.
Glad they brought up boondocks people don’t usually bring it up in this topic
What about Kappa Mikey?
I typed Soriario Days on the search bar and this appeared.
I remember watching samurai jack when I was like 4,and 5
Missed oppurtunity for Animerican. Even if its groan inducing, it fits.
Esp Teen Titans because they had songs from Puffy Ami Yumi on the show with their amazing songs in Japanese I used to download the songs on youtube to listen to them like the song from the mad mod chase
I would definitely love a video of U.S. and Japanese cinema and film inspirations
Some people in the US dont even know what anime mean. While in Japan literally everyone does lol
yes I would love to watch about cartoon inspired anime!
Are some shows region blocked? Like where do I even watch Avatar the last airbender, it's not in crunchyroll for me.
I thought I only got into anime a couple years ago, turns out I've been watching anime my whole life
I love Teen Titans when I was kid.
Crunchyroll: "Why not watch onyx equinox?"
Me: Because it has horrible animation and a story that's all over the place? (also it has an M-rating)
Believe in yourself 🙏🤗
i wouldn't call 3 anime-looking cartoons as completely changing the western animation.
Filthy Frank is my favorite anime
that's a damn cool strawhat ya got there bud 🏴☠🏴☠🏴☠
I 💟 this channel
Take control of your own destiny
I got my subscription ,had it for years when are we getting funimation back to vrv?
I’m fine with connotations
I think there were also a lot of cartoons here inspired by sailor moon. Not just the super hero and mech ones.
There need to be more animes from other countries other than Japan. I Hope here in Brazil, they start making more anime-designed cartoons or even movies inspired in anime.
they have some Chinese and Korean anime but not sure about Brazil
If it's in another country it's not considered an anime
@@sagemaster1357 that's Chinese animation and Korean animation. Something can't be considered proper anime if it's outside Japan.
@@philo2189 oh ok
@@sagemaster1357 ok
How about Animerican?
Even Transformers and X-amen influenced by anime? WOW!
what about TMNT 2003 tv show???
Sorry But A Second Comment :
I’m Old So It Was Saturday Morning
Cartoons: But Now I Love All Things Anime
Lobe youe content ❤❤❤Please do another death count of an anime❤❤❤
