Flex availability is still a problem. There are 3 stores within 10 miles, and one of those usually has 3 or 4 of the basic three piece system and nothing else. A store 15 miles west usually has several of the organizers and sometimes the mid-sized box. If I want the half-sized organizer I have to go 120 miles east. Flex did not come up with any of those ideas they took them from the pack out community. yes Milwaukee sucks for not listening to their community but flex deserves no credit for creativity, market research that’s all.
@@steffendetrick9403 that may be true…but flex went and actually made what people wanted so…maybe they deserve a little credit? Because Milwaukee does market research all the time and they essentially said “shut up and be happy with what you got”. 🤷🏽♂️
@@Gultiere I agree 100 percent with that. I’ve been a little disappointed with Milwaukee lately and I wish flex would’ve used the opportunity to say or market it like that. “ A lot of our market research came from the packout Community and we wanted to give customers what the competitor wouldn’t” or some kind of honorable mention. I’m not Defending Milwaukee it’s the people that made these things in their garage or workshop with 3-D printers that came up with these ideas and it’s a little frustrating to see people leave comments like flex have a bunch of geniuses working for them. Flex is going to make a lot of money off of other peoples ideas that are on the payroll some kind of honorable mention would’ve been a nice tip of the hat but flex has always had terrible marketing. But you’re 100% right they did do what Milwaukee would not.
I've played with these already. we put 80lbs in big bottom box locked on the small one and could pick the big one up with the little one. Stuff is built tough, and it locks impressively well with just those clamps they designed.
I own some flex tools and i have to say they really payed attention to vibration of the tools...the recip saw is amazing hiw powerful and almostno vibration...i just wish they woukd take advantage of their stacked lithium batteries and start making some nail guns and mitersaws
A lot of this stuff can be done with aftermarket Packout, but it's nice to get this straight from the factory. I personally don't like hanging a bunch of stuff outside my boxes.
I love seeing brands manufacture accessories for their in house products like this. With that being said, the mould and design of the “organizers” themselves are almost identical to the Milwaukee packout. Only big difference is the locking system and the gasket they have on the lids. With the packout accessories, if there’s anything you want and Milwaukee doesn’t make it, you can usually find a third party who has 3D printed it and purchase it for a reasonable price
Hi Guys!!! I love the external/internal organization accessories available with the Flex boxes! Having mounting points on the metal corner plates of the Flex boxes is so smart! I wish Milwaukee would provide such accessories/features. But, I'm not crazy about the pistons raising the Flex box lids. I can see those failing over time. And, I think Milwaukee's cleat system beats Flex's box connection system. The cleats are just a great idea. I know there's 3D-printed accessories for Packout and other tweaks to provide options that Flex has, but the important point is....Flex already has these accessories available and built-in features that Packout doesn't have.
The lid attachment points are really really smart. But milwaukee gives me more confidence with the actual box attachments. Then again..those accessories are amazing
What I love the most is how sturdy these feels. All their power tools too. Can't wait for a full line of regular tools to go along with it. I want EVERYTHING Flex now, including my hammer! :)
I'm lookin into buying a new tool box and I'm a Dewalt buying type of guy since the 90s and when I went to the store to buy my Dewalt box I came across this Flex stack pack tool box! At this point I then became confused!!😂 went home and thought about it and came to a conclusion that yes tomorrow I'll be a new owner of that Flex tool box.
That's real nasss like. Looks like FLEX has been watching those who 3D prints accessories for other brands of tool boxes and have decided to produce accessories for their own brand.

@@Vachedecombat I’m already deep into the PACKOUT system for about 4 or 5 years and I probably have about $1500+(US) worth in both black and red PACKOUT together.
I went back and forth from Home D to Lowes looking at Flex Milwaukee and Dewalt. I went with Flex. It was just built a little tougher then the other 2.
Go Vince! WoW! Flex didn't leave out much improving The "Packout type" system. They really did it this time Vince. They didn't leave much for the 3rd partyers Tell them to make'em with red trim, lol.
Boy this sure looks structurally and geometrically like a Milwaukee Packout box set. And it’s not black either. I love the removable handle. I had to do the customization of my Milwaukee Packout box to get the handle to release.
Flex should have come out with the drawer units out of the gate. Especially for the bottom section with wheels. That's something that Milwaukee made a mistake on.
I still prefer the locking system on the packout. It’s a matter of time till Milwaukee produces their own accessories, however this hurts the third part printers so there is always a trade. Looks like a good product but nothing new here outside of gas shocks and interior lid mounts.
Last to the party but they did all the things nobody else did. The metal box almost looks like my ammo box. Same color just a better Locking System. Nice looking set up. Looks like Flex did their homework. 💯👍🇺🇸
Flex is off to an awesome start with the stack pack! The gas struts looked solid. Didn’t struggle at all when you added bits to the underside. If I wasn’t so invested into my Packout gear, I’d definitely think about going Flex for modular storage. Seeing all the add ons for levels and extensions cords shows you that Flex is definitely doing its research and looking at what people are making aftermarket for other modular storage brands. I’m sure flex is going to keep coming out with more boxes/organizers. Great job Vince! The reveal in the Flex face off wasn’t anything compared to this video! Have a great night! 👍🏻
I personally am more impressed with the accessories than the boxes themselves. I think the ability to have a power box with tools, batteries, charger, and bits all clean like that is awesome. But I definitely don't like the locking tabs as much here as I do with the packout. They do look solid though.
For Flex’s wave one of the Tough System/Packout competitor, this looks fantastic. The accessories you can add onto the box are a really good idea and something Packout and Tough System can learn from.
WOOOO !!!!! I REALLY LIKE THAT !!!! I am so invested in Ridgid I could not jump ship. But very cool. I would like to see an adapter for a 4ft step latter fitting on the front of the stack. I made one in my shop for my Ridgid set. I am sure TTI or Chervon could easily make one. My latter adapter is mostly handy when moving in and out of elevators. Love the video !!!!
You know why I bought Flex tools for this recent home remodel. Because they're including batteries in their kits. The 199 impact the 179 drill. Idc about any of this as long as they don't lose that trend which milwaukee increasingly has turned me off from their tools. Buying 1 tool and spending another fortune for their batteries.
So far I worry about 1 thing on these Stack Pack's... And it's a big one! That being: If you just put a Stack Pack on top of another, and then just push down to lock it into place, that means that the side clip(s) are the only thing(s) doing all of the securing. With Milwaukee, there is the slide and lock into place which is considerably better? Worth looking into comparing.
When I initially watched this video upon release, I thought it was really cool with a lot of advantages over the tough system from DeWalt, while being similar to it, while the ToughSystem still had a couple of advantages of its own. I already had tough system 2.0 so wasn’t planning on switching. Thought I might steal a couple of the ideas from their box and modify the toughsystem with it. But a couple days ago all of my tools got stolen from my truck, so I’m coming back to this video to reconsider it.
Pick your plastic, most all these tool cases made by a plastics company in Israel, and of varying but overall decent quality. Design and prices vary, between all the brands, they got something that fits any need.......My Ridgid stack is doing fine after 5 years of daily in and out of my work van.......
Dewalt's wheeled base in the Toushsystem 2.0 has the removable handle. I think the win point for me is the Toughsystem DS Carrier, a folding hand cart with the same rack arms as on their wall and van rack systems so you don't need to unstack everything to get into your middle or bottom boxes, plus you've got a hand cart on hand at all times with it.
so, whats the total weight those wheel can take on a day to day. need a quick cover to put over to keep temptation of stealing from while im at lunch or gone to do quick project. guess a cable lock would work for now
Wow, this is definitely something to consider. I haven't really taken anything else all that seriously other than packout. This looks great. Looking forward to seeing the longevity of this system. Those rails paired with the tough built cliptech system , is going to be very hard to ignore. Great review VCG.
I'd like to see one built in a cabinet configuration. Basically, you would open two doors that swing open. Inside would be places you could secure screw guns, drills, bits, and all that other good stuff. I like the pack out boxes (have a DeWalt one) but I hate having to move boxes to get to something in the bottom. If it was in a cabinet config, everything would be easier to grab.
I like the idea other than it'd end up being a rather tall individual item. Alternatively, you could have a breadbox-style opening or deep drawer system that'd be easier to secure (lock) and last longer than something with hinges.
Great video Vince. It great for us RUclipsrs to see a demo from someone who has real field experience. Question: Are all the components and additions to this system only for Flex tools? If so, what about the owners of the other brands tools. It's too bad we have to choose one particular brand and stick with it because they are not interchangeable with other brands.
Looks like Milwaukee needs to step their game up, I'm really impressed with Flex, their stack pack deflooks like they put a lot of time and effort into the design. Good job Flex.
As good as their last infomercial was for jokes, they came pretty strong on their Pack Stack imo. All the factory accessories without having to find a 3d print guy is a appealing offering. Assuming they can keep up and not always be out of stock. Otherwise it's back to outsourcing. All in all they look like a nice beginning to a stack system. I am wondering where the over priced milk crate is? I use the milk crate for drywall hand tools and wouldn't want to be without it. Also would like to see some drawers and an XL box to replace the wheeled box, and of course stack it on the drawers. If they continue to come out swinging releasing ease of use, packout esq boxes I could see myself switching, as I have been wanting to swap some boxes around, and it would be a reset even staying in the packout, so if flex had the XL box, drawers, and a milk crate I could see the switch as I like the Flex color way. Flex did their homework, studied the competition, and made some improvements. If they do the same thing when it comes to their sales more ppl would be enticed.
Draws would be great for car mechanics. Foam inserts would make it silent & water proof shock resistance is a must. Military load outs are the only thing that’s made for fixing things in a rush. I mean something that’s not like a fancy cooler. Regardless it looks cool for another trade. 🇺🇸
We have the 3 major brands of pack outs at our shop. Flex holds up to the Milwaukee pack out. The only advantage that Milwaukee has is the quantity of attachments. The hydrolic hinges on Flex are awesome. I do have a couple complaints about my Flex stack pack. The level holder sticks out kinda far and I end up hitting walls and door with it. The clips that hold the bit cases under the lid don't hold very good. I have the socket set that supposed to clip in under the lid and it falls off all the time. I am curious to see what Klein is going to do with their new pack out system.
So, they tool the Packout boxes and the connections from DeWalt/Craftsman and all of the accessories that have been built by a lot of the online community/3D Printing etc. and are now selling it all themselves. I definitely like the accessory/bit boxes that snap and stack together. That is one thing that I would like to see in the Milwaukee bit boxes.
Lol I got the packout because I knew 100% percent I was gonna break the latches on the ridgid or dewalt . And I jeep hearing latches undo the latches and put it on the latches and then I smack the shit out the latch and now I'm ordering it lol but as everyone said I'm hoping it will push Milwaukee to either lower the price or add even more amazing boxes. But I pull out all the boxes out of my packouts . And the bins so flex isn't showing me anything I want there literally many times the tools barely fit and I need that extra edge I'm sure the packs will get in the way. Sewn guys with the ryobi one and they grind off the but holder thing under the lid because its annoying. But I guess depends what you do for a living, great videos I love when you guys show us tools and systems so we can have a good look 👍
Hope Milwaukee is taking notes.... almost annoyed Milwaukee doesn't have this. Very impressed with the holder remaining in place with a bender as well as the battery rack.
@@MRBLACKWOODS83 obvious you don't know anything about 3D printing lol. I can print whatever I want using PETG that can easily handle the heat from the sun, If I need UV resistant then I can use ASA which is the same material in the dash of your car, or if I need incredible strength I can use carbon fiber nylon. Considering the plastic used for those accessories is likely ABS, what I can produce is better. Go off though.
Both Milwaukee Packout and Flex are made in Israel by an excellent plastic molding & manufacturing company. They also make other tool storage systems for other companies such as DeWalt’s T-Stax.
too bad flex wouldn't hook me up , I just purchased some Stavk systems Flec looks damn good. Being able to create the storage you desire is a big deal for any tradesman
This is the comment I am posting everywhere possible: Bought this Flex pack out a few months ago. Used on three projects. The latches between the top box and the middle box kept hanging up or not locking. Soooo, tried to call company service to get a fix. Wasn't asking for anything but a tech to walk me through the fix(maybe a replacement latch?). First, good luck getting through, they DON"T answer their phones. After a half hour hold the message comes on offering a call back. No choice gotta grow old on the phone or give up. No call back, so the next day I try again, same deal, but this time I get a call back. Pleasant young lady hears the problem and takes all my info and says they are sending a new replacement unit!! Of course nothing took place, NO Replacement Unit, No Latches, NO NOTHING!!!! The product seems to be well made except for these few minor issues, however I would never recommend buying a Flex product. They have no customer loyalty. I no longer care to upgrade my tool platform to your products, as I was considering your power tool line. Not anymore.

Those things look pretty sweet. They are a little late for me though. Too invested in the lightning bolt ⚡️ already
Definitely Flex picked up where Milwaukee left off
If Flex release a drawer box sturdier than milwaukee, I’m sold
I love seeing brands manufacture accessories for their in house products like this. With that being said, the mould and design of the “organizers” themselves are almost identical to the Milwaukee packout. Only big difference is the locking system and the gasket they have on the lids. With the packout accessories, if there’s anything you want and Milwaukee doesn’t make it, you can usually find a third party who has 3D printed it and purchase it for a reasonable price
Adding storage in the boxes for indexes and accessories is awesome
Well Vince did a great job advertising all of this because I want to buy into Flex now
😂
Bought their bit kits. Way better than the others. Best bit cases I’ve ever used
I'm lookin into buying a new tool box and I'm a Dewalt buying type of guy since the 90s and when I went to the store to buy my Dewalt box I came across this Flex stack pack tool box! At this point I then became confused!!😂 went home and thought about it and came to a conclusion that yes tomorrow I'll be a new owner of that Flex tool box.
That's real nasss like.
Looks like FLEX has been watching those who 3D prints accessories for other brands of tool boxes and have decided to produce accessories for their own brand.
flex is always super expensive, i wonder how expensive these little add ons are.
@@Vachedecombat How much compared to Milwaukee?
@@jasonbabila6006 My bad, i confused Flex tools with Festool lol! I actually know nothing about flex tools since ive never seen them on construction sites in canada. Their box does look well build so depending on their prices, you might wanna check it out before you get a pack out. Ive been running the same pack out since its been out in canada and i wouldnt change.
You should've done a commercial for them you sure as heck sold me on it! Definitely getting myself this here soon!
I kept waiting for the remark about the exterior accessory rails and attachments as Flex thinking "Outside the Box!".
Go Vince!
WoW!
Flex didn't leave out much improving The "Packout type" system. They really did it this time Vince. They didn't leave much for the 3rd partyers
Tell them to make'em with red trim, lol.
I might have to sell my Packout for these!🔥
Boy this sure looks structurally and geometrically like a Milwaukee Packout box set. And it’s not black either. I love the removable handle. I had to do the customization of my Milwaukee Packout box to get the handle to release.
Wow now you got me really liking that box❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰😍
Nice to see them thinking outside of the box
Flex should have come out with the drawer units out of the gate. Especially for the bottom section with wheels. That's something that Milwaukee made a mistake on.
Drawer boxes are a must!
if they had a drawer system i would almost trade in my packout for this stuff.
Halfway into adding all those accessories I'm like "now he's gonna need 3 helpers to help him roll that thing into a job site" lol
Definitely impressive. DeWalt need to add those features to the tough system.
Awesome video very impressed with Flex Stack Pack well done Vince thanks for sharing 👍
Milwaukee better not take this lying down. Let's go boys
Pick your plastic, most all these tool cases made by a plastics company in Israel, and of varying but overall decent quality. Design and prices vary, between all the brands, they got something that fits any need.......My Ridgid stack is doing fine after 5 years of daily in and out of my work van.......
I think it looks more like DeWalt and craftsman boxes with their driver but cases being able to lock in like that
Vince, to remove the rolling box handle, do you have to lay the box on its side to remove the “locks” holdings the handle in place?
Just for the camera.
Flex just blew the competition away!
Where can I get these boxes? I’ve looked at lows and I didn’t see any
4:20 always a good stopping point.
so, whats the total weight those wheel can take on a day to day. need a quick cover to put over to keep temptation of stealing from while im at lunch or gone to do quick project. guess a cable lock would work for now
Their website says 250 LB load capacity
wow im starting to get the flex itch!!!! there is no competition!!!! this is hands down in a new solar system
Wow, this is definitely something to consider. I haven't really taken anything else all that seriously other than packout. This looks great. Looking forward to seeing the longevity of this system.
Those rails paired with the tough built cliptech system , is going to be very hard to ignore.
Great review VCG.
Very nice! Has some great additional features other tool companies do not have!
Yes they do
I love the flex stack pack and I have the drill kit. Good bye Milwaukee!!
The milwalt looks very cool, totally a little of pack out and toughsystem 2.0 put together , awesome !!!
@@RAW_Reality I could see that
Great video Vince. It great for us RUclipsrs to see a demo from someone who has real field experience. Question: Are all the components and additions to this system only for Flex tools? If so, what about the owners of the other brands tools. It's too bad we have to choose one particular brand and stick with it because they are not interchangeable with other brands.
Imma dewalt guy, but I'm slowly loving the flex brand
I'm all about drawer boxes . The base rolling cart needs to be a large drawer.
Yes that would be a top seller. Maybe Milwaukee will respond to the Flex release with the XL drawer box.
Looks like Milwaukee needs to step their game up, I'm really impressed with Flex, their stack pack deflooks like they put a lot of time and effort into the design.
Good job Flex.
It will take a lot of extra time messing with their latch system
Bravo, Flex.
Milwaukee Don't fall asleep because Shrimp that falls asleep is carried away by the current 😊😊😂
Looks like grey Packout boxes with husky lock system and some extra features
This is tough man. I’m a die hard Milwaukee fan but hands down this is better than packout. Milwaukee needs to step it up.
Bro these are 🔥🔥🔥. I’m hooked
I see a lot of cool features that Milwaukee doesn’t have but also a lot of stuff that can break or cause issues
Just great - now, due to color, I’m gonna have to build an entirely new skyscraper.
😂
Very much thought through product, carefully engineered especially leads and accessory management cleats
If DeWalt test system 2.0 and Milwaukee pack out had a baby flex stack pack would be its child
I just wish they did a center release button like the packout. I can have my packout wedged in on both sides and still slide my boxes out as needed.
Hey, would any of the exterior accessories be compatible with packout tho? Kinda sorta look maybe?
Wow
Rigid box user for years because no one else changed my mind but this one may be the one
Hope Milwaukee is taking notes.... almost annoyed Milwaukee doesn't have this. Very impressed with the holder remaining in place with a bender as well as the battery rack.
once they get the milk crate, I'm sold.
So... Basically, it's a packout system with 3D printed accessories...? I'll just keep my packout and 3D print my own stuff for it lol
Seems to be a mix of both Tough System and Packout.
But its not cheap 3d printed accessories. You can leave then in the sun without melting like your crap
Stack pack is a hybrid of Dewalt 2.0 and Milwaukee pack out. That is my take lol 😂 it does look great 👍🏽
Now that’s REAL NICE LIKE Vance .
Milwaukee guy here but flex is flexin on everybody holy shit.
Cool. Nice better than Milwaukee 😳🧐
Both Milwaukee Packout and Flex are made in Israel by an excellent plastic molding & manufacturing company. They also make other tool storage systems for other companies such as DeWalt’s T-Stax.
too bad flex wouldn't hook me up , I just purchased some Stavk systems
Flec looks damn good. Being able to create the storage you desire is a big deal for any tradesman
Great demo. One of the best.
Milwaukee has their work cut out, Flex is flexing the stack pack. The drawer stack pack is next.
This is the comment I am posting everywhere possible:
Bought this Flex pack out a few months ago.
I was *this* close to getting Milwaukee boxes. But this is catching my eye. I’ll wait and see what calls me come Xmas
