hey Jeff, my 13 year old son flies the kraken 580 on 6s, I fly mine on 12s and its a beast, I must have 130 flights on it and everything is like new it never seems to wear😆 Great video keep em coming 👍👍
@@westhobbiesrc8051 I'm using xnova 560kv motor 2x 3300 lipos and 600mm main blades and I changed the motor pully from 22T to 21T I'm getting around 6 minutes, my son gets 4.30 minutes, his esc and motor get hotter than mine because of efficiency, we both use the scorpion Tribunus 130A esc, as for power I'd say I get 30% more, my son likes flying mine🤣🤣
If you have an iKon/Brain you should really get the Bluetooth module. When I changed to Spirit I tried the integration/telemetry with Spektrum (which the iKon/Brain also has) and was a very small step up when I changed to NEO/VControl. It really is awesome to be able to tune from the field.
On my personal helicopters I run SRXL2 so I can adjust/program right from my radio but I still like to have a laptop and go that way. I have Bluetooth as well but I still like to plug-in through my laptop and adjust things.
@@westhobbiesrc8051 Got it. Thought it was your own. Still, after initial setup. I found there was nothing I could not do via the radio. I got used to it pretty quickly as it was so simple and quick. I don't like to connect to the computer at all now, unless it is absolutely and completely necessary (like firmware upgrades, for example).
@@toadiscoil I can do everything adjustment wise from my transmitter that I need/want. It’s really nice! Like my RAW 420 with the SRXL2 or my fireball I can change what ever adjustments on the fly. I like the kraken helis but I’m not a huge fan. Main reason I never owned a SAB till the RAW Series came out.
Not 1st. lol. Wonderful Flight Jeff and your 580 seems incredibly dialed in! A few more changes for You, Obi Wan lol. Give my best to your little Angel. Any chance you could email me your Spektrum File for your 580 as it is? I don't think I would need your updates because I don't quite fly at your level of skill. Cheers my friend, I'll send you an email to reply to. Cheers!
Thanks Larry! I’ll looks and see if I saved this model file (I know I know! I need to save them all lol) but next time I fly this model. It’s a buddy I built for. I can save the file. The kraken is a awesome Heli!
If you want a small heli that is cheap to crash the OMPHobby M2 and the Goosky Legend S2 seem to be super popular lately, because they are good fliers and cheap crashers.
How did I miss these videos. Great flying as always.
Amazing machine and flying!
Thank you! It is an amazing machine
Great flying!
Thank you!

I bet the 580 is a beast on 12s! I’ve tossed the idea of brown building my raw 580 on 12s

Look very good sounds good
Thank you! It’s a great Heli!
580 second flight! Thats 9min 40 secs! : )
Nice! That’s a great flight time.
Awesome heli. There is something about low headspeed 3D that is better.
I love mixed flying but I do love Lowhead speak to! And it just sounds so cool and a lot more work as you don’t have the headspeed as your friend lol

@@westhobbiesrc8051 Thank you very much Jeff, I'd appreciate that very much and never fear... no lectures from me, my friend! lol
If I can get to the point where I can fly 25% as well as you, I will be extremely happy lol.
Thanks man! I’m not a pro pilot by any means! You will get there! Just practice as much as you can!
nice heli nice vid as always❤❤
Thank you! I greatly appreciate it!
Man I’m sad that i crashed mine. Thinking of repairing it and getting either the blade 330s or the trex 300x
Repair it! It’s a awesome Heli! 100 times what a 330 or 300X could ever be.
@@westhobbiesrc8051 money is the only problem i gotta wait😢
I did the same but mine fell in a little lake and I gotta change all electronics now. Such a bummer
