I’m here after watching the music video for Black Hole Sun. The guitar player plays a dark green Polara. Never knew they existed, and now I’m hooked!

Great demo of a great guitar. No explanations needed, you moved effortlessly through the various tones the s -100 has to offer. Thanks for that.

In the 70s I had the dark red one with the acorn and leaf design carved into the wood.

It looks like the tailpiece is closer to the bridge then usually with s-100 guitars

I noticed that too. I have a 1975 S-100 and its tailpiece is close too. Maybe there were a few years in the 70s where this was the design spec?

@@aagalsoff The tailpiece started to be closer to the bridge strating in 1977 if I am not mistaken to correct the issue with harmonics.

How are the new reissue model of this one?.. Does it feel cheap compared to this? Or is it worth the money?

Die klingt nicht so toll. Dunkel und schwer(fällig). Spiel ist trotzdem wie immer hammer.
