Does society look down upon introverts?

  • Haven’t even combed my hair - wanted to share this with you from a book that I am listening to “Quiet” recommended by my manager.
    I love books that challenge conventional thinking and so far this is one of them!

    This is true. At work we had to submit to Myers Briggs testing and after receiving the results I could tell that my company preferred those who represented the extrovert qualities more than the introvert.

      When I left University I had an interview at KPMG.. Turned out it wasn’t an interview but some sort of multi choice test for screening. I asked why I was being tested and not interviewed and was told “people who score more than xx% in these tests tend to be more successful here” I failed the test (thankfully) but with hindsight I would like to have just said “I just realized that I don’t want to work here” and go home without taking that test…

    me too i though like that, and felt like me being introverted is something bad , and I don't know if that is true

      Being introverted is not a bad thing however we just need to learn to succeed using our skills in the circumstances we exist in
