Enrique stood on business! If that president at the time saying we have rules and blah why are the rules not applied to Everyone then. I feel like you did nothing wrong you tried to work with them they were never going to be happy with anything. I believe all stands from you were building and the others couldn’t afford to build as well jealousy is a ugly thing.

I don’t think it’s moving with ego. I think it’s moving with confidence. I also don’t think that she knew how bad it would end up being. I know I wouldn’t think all of that would happen if I was part of an HOA.(which I am, BTW)They were legally wrong in what they were doing. Her doing the right thing by going the legal route is not being reckless for her children’s wellbeing, that is what you’re supposed to do when someone threatens to remove your access to your home. Let’s try and remember that this is over construction on a house, not something illegal like growing weed. Where you would expect something bad to happen. As a woman, I’m glad she didn’t just put her head down and do what they asked, they tried bullying her because she is a single mom with kids. If there was a husband living there, those men would’ve never done all of that.
You were definitely warned but you are the kind of person that likes to push boundaries and see how far you can go. Can’t blame you I’m the same way 😜
My HOA here in Mexicali had the president stole a kot of cash too and there was no accountability. It looks like now there is a new board with better people

What’s right is right and what’s wrong is wrong them dudes was being creepy everytime wanting to meet up with her!!! At that point I would’ve never met up with them I would’ve definitely had my lawyer with me and I would’ve took all of them to court!!!

I c/b wrong, but it sounds like the president is being forced to inforced rules that he himself doesn't agree with and isn't ok with. It's almost as if Jimmy is holding something over him and forcing him to continue to attack you via the president. From the recordings, IMO, the president strikes as friendly individuals and wants to come to some sort of a medium. Then Jimmy enters the chat, and immediate tension rises. His tone alone feels negative and gives dictatorship vibes. I feel like everyone is tired of dealing with Jimmy and his tactics. It's almost as if the board doesn't really know what they are doing and are just winging it and trying to keep everyone happy. Anything to get Jimmy off their backs. I don't think that your response was out of character. It's giving, do whatever is necessary to get what we want as HOA. Jimmy needs to be eliminated from the entire equation to have peace.
So this is the real question. Do you regret purchasing a house there? Or do you wish you would have looked into it more before you purchased?

i agree with imelda in the comments you do keep pushing to see how far you can go you move with a lot of ego sometimes and you put yourself and your kids in more danger there are ways you both could go around with this but you keep moving with ego so if your babies were in danger you kinda put them in that with “exposing”
