Yeah like in some positions I’ll think I should have some winning move or tactic to be winning and upon analyzing, it was equal or in their favor actually so it’s a lot easier to spot when you know it’s there
I'm kinda a begginer level and I'm bad at chess but because I don't think too much I always get to pull moves like this and people think I'm good but really my ranking is shit
I spent way too much time looking for a clever checkmate with blacks bishop, because you said it was an absolutely wicked move and the sacking of the rook is just the most obvious. Yeah it's a really nice fork but it's not a mindblowingly good move that you're wondering "how did he do that". I'd like to see the board 5 moves before this, how it got here.
That was the first move I looked at but I disregarded it because it didn't seem as wicked or unique as the vid hyped it up to be so i figured it must be wrong
Honestly a beautiful move
Kasparov shows the same move in his masterclass... a classic interference move
lol that's my discord pfp
No it’s not. It’s just trading pieces. No real advantage
@@realTexans2024 did we watch the same video? There's clearly an advantage for black
First one of these that I actually got.
Same. I feel it. That happiness. Gives me a smile
I don't think it was a hard one to spot, no other move makes sense here
@Johnny Doyle I'm better than people at board game look at me.
I’m proud I found this in line 30 seconds:)
X for doubt
@@mayankshetty34 it’s pretty easy tbh when you’re looking for it
I found it in 7 lmao
How did it take you that long its the only move
@@ikinoktace1280 yeah i also found it
this isnt just a beautiful move its a beautiful position😂😂
Ok this is the kind of puzzle we need to see instead of those that have 20 rook and bishop attacking a king
Can’t believe I saw this. Kinda proud of myself ngl
"WOOK"
Weally matuwe
Don’t make fun of the way people speak. thats diswespectful and wong.
You should leawn to acknowledge theiw wowds
It's really fucking iwwitating
Aahhh I love how youtube comment section is getting as gold as weddit
How did I just guess that, my thought process was you should sac the rook because why not
That is an absolutely crazy move
We can also go rook takes bishop. After white rook recaptures, black king captures the unprotected rook.
I see what your looking at but white would recapture with pawn and rooks protect each other
@@firesidedude8352 Yeah yeah. Missed the pawn. Wrong move by me. Was viewing this puzzle at 4 in the morning. 🤣🤣🤣
We all make mistakes just like me accidentally hanging my queen :)
I lowkey just wanted to meme with the video and i got the right move
This is from Bobby Fischer's game... I guess.. I have seen a video about this amazing fork
It was Nathan Mannheimer vs Unknown person in 1921, couldn't find out the other person.
@@late9260 The second person truly is unknown, there is no way to find out who they are. Its a shame.
Can't believe I found that. Amazing move and video. Please bring more such puzzles 🙏❤️
Well done, sure!
@@Greatname thanq 😊🙏
credit: ginger gm who showed this in a video
Ngl that def must be a "BRILLIANT!" move
Thats was easy to find bc it separates the rooks like...ez
It is easy to find such moves when you definitely know that there is a better move.. In live game even the easiest one is hard to find.

The best move was black’s king getting to both rooks and white deciding to do nothing about it
Where is this from I’ve seen this puzzle before
A game from Bobby fisher, also chess.com top 5 forks
@@alexandramuller9055 no it's from Mannheimer game 1920. Best the same video
I found this within 10 seconds. Proud of myself

Proud of myself for actually spotting it
If you're rated around or above 1300 you probably knew the best move.
Glad i was able to spot it
i found it right away, but if its in a normal game i might not have found it
I genuinely said wow out loud
The move is rook to e4 ,and it was played in the actual match
Me when the AI says "brilliant" :3
I saw it and thought I was crazy
I guessed it correct with the same tactics
Me too
I spent like 5 minutes looking at Bb7 and analyzed every move and then saw Bf1 :’( I heard a rare tactic and just assumed it had to be zug zwang
I had something similar. I sacrificed a piece to then fork a rook and a knight with my king
Ahh I remeber this position, I think it was either in agadmators video or just puzzles
Pretty sure I got this one on my chess.com rated puzzles back when I was 1150ish. I definitely didn’t get it right that first time
cap
I found it in 3 seconds while knowing what I was doing, honestly I should be a GM😆
I feel very happy when finding such moves :)
Am I the only one to notice that a rook is guarded by a pawn
What about the other rook? Also I saw that tatic before you said it
That was the first move I looked at but I disregarded it because it didn't seem as wicked or unique as the vid hyped it up to be so i figured it must be wrong
What if white goes king f3?
I spotted it in 4 seconds
but, there is a pawn protecting left tower
Why dont they take with the bishop
Neato, I'll keep this in mind
I actually guessed it holy f
Guessing is not the same as knowing why it's good. I am a 600 rated player on chess.com and I guessed it as well but I missed many things.
If rook takes bishop?
It's cool. But black is just better in this position he has numerous options and can make sacrifices while remaining up material
Wjat about bishop to e6?
Manheimer played it and it was featured in a chess.com vid
Its a really ez move but it's power is outstanding
This one was pretty intuitive to me. Definitely an odd position to be in though
Anyone else saw this in the "top 10 best pins" video from the chess.com yt channel?
I think u can also just take the bishop. Then if they take ur rook u take other rook with king
They’ll take with pawn not rook
No pawn tales
For Anyone who ever watched gotham. First thought process is Sacrifice the ROOOOOKKKK!!
What is the analysis on this
Another mastery fork
i’ve seen this position before, it’s from an old game
Its from the 1920 Mannheimer game
you know I found the move before I saw it in the video
I found it in one second... the second time I watched the video 😏
Hiw do you make that animation when you mive a piece? Like is it edit? Or just some settings
Chess.com animation settings, it's called "arcade animation"
Honesty surprised I got this on like 2nd calculation
That's just a sick move
Wait, I’m a 400 and I found this move
I’m moving up in the world
😂 Well done!
The weird thing is that I'm a 830 ELO and I found that move instantly.
Well done!
Lets gooo!! I saw the move😎
(Did anyone else see that move🤔?)
This fork happened during one of tals game ❤️
Do you have a link to the game? I'm interested...
Yooo i got the move
Didn't know why it worked but it looked crazy enough to be possible
Well done!
Rfe4, white takes rook with pawn C3 safe
Ik u saw my message pin me pls I need subs ;-;
i got it, but how about b7? or am i too dumb xD
Took me less than 5 seconds, am I proud? Naah !!!!
"Wook"
Lmfao at all the "i found the move" people. It literally showed it in thumbnail
I actually cracked it and it came really fast to me aswell
That is mikhail tal vs gukco
And this is why I can’t push past 1100👁👄👁
😭😂
Ik it was the move but i didnt know why. Now ik🙂
I actually solved it within these few seconds
I keep on seeing that answer in the thumbnail. Is that supposed to happen?
No, I select one that doesn't show, but youtube does its own thing sometimes.
Only got bishop, not that amazing. But still a clever move
The move was in the freaking thumbnail
It's not meant to be, RUclips shows the wrong still sometimes as the thumbnail, I think...
You sound like Wesley So!
How is the the first that we all got right 🤣
Wells it's the only one with a legal move 😂😂
So it is balanst becouse IT is rook for rook..
D4 to a4 then he looses only one Tower and has Bishop still
What a wook move
I found it in 3 seconds but did not realise how nice it was
I'm only like 600
Well done!
Whose move???
Black
OH MY GOSH I CALLED IT IDK WHY I DID BUT I DID
It's this wok move
I think adgadmator did a video on this game
I saw this in 1 second 😄
my dumbarse found the best move but gave up because don't know what tactic means
Rook D5
Is that not an obvious move?
Yay I found jt!!!
I thought I was white
Wook
I got it right 😎🤏
Holy shit
