Just recently found your channel and absolutely loving it. Minus the cnc and laser stuff, it’s pretty much what I’ve been doing. So many great tips and tricks, fun energy, love that you’re getting the kids involved.

One beginner step (beginner here) that would be very helpful is showing the cuts and how to accomplish them for getting the flat surfaces that you’re starting with. How do you manage to cut a round log down to work with?

Chainsaw or bandsaw it’s like a car just use a bigger hammer I taught myself how to do a lot of this and being risky pays off and you figure it out

Wow, I love your products, and I may start do some organic shapes with my saved logs, but, for how long should I leave the log to dry out? Or is there a way to make it faster?

There are two ways to stoppinh cracking.
Sealing the end grain is one.
The other is filling in the crack with someting like super glue, Very Liquid CA glue.
Or using slow setting epoxy (2 part).
Or decently made wood filler from sawdust from your Sanders dust bag mixed with tightbond-II thingy.
    Let it currrrre.

Hello, I watch your videos with great pleasure. But there is something you want to ask. When I make something out of wood like you did, I cannot prevent it from cracking after I make it. Is there a way to do this? Thank you in advance for your answer.

I am thinking of getting a new angle grinder for wood carving. Have you ever tried the dewalt battery powered grinders? Would that be a bad idea considering it being used mostly for wood carving and metal grinding for welding? Thanks.

What I Like To Do Is If I See
A Crack I Like Mixing Some Tightbond 2 With Some Sawdust
From The Wood I'm Sanding On
& use It As A Wood Filler. &
As It Dry's It's Actualy Invisable.
