I think this is an old quarry that is now used for recreational scuba diving. I see some buoys floating in the background. They sink all kinds of stuff in there for the divers to explore. I’ve been to one that had an airplane and boats and a school bus etc. Stuff grows on it and fish are attracted.

Definitely a diving quarry by the looks of the barrels floating in the water. Probably sunk it because the owner didn’t want it and old and became a new diving attraction. My diving quarry has a similar set up with a boat that size.
It's an old rock quarry used for scuba diving. Not only is there no ramp, the walls are a straight drop. If they'd backed up any farther there was the risk of it taking the truck with it.

I’ve seen this video many times but just realized they probably didn’t care about the trailer or the boat considering they are launching that bohemoth in a small pond or quarry . They are probably making a floating party barge spot in their personal pond.
Doesn't look like the boat is seaworthy enough to be launched yet. Cleaned up with a fresh coat of paint and sealer it might be nice. I wonder how deep the gouges in the boat were from the trailer and roots during the launch...
