Sheesh that ending where Nan speaks on Richard.. Really felt that man! ❤️
I took a shot of whiskey every time the cuzzies said “cuz”, I’m in hospital now for alcohol poisoning, lol. Imo this episode was the best one of the series so far. It’s got a harmonious feeling about it. Cheers cuz.
Lucky it was only for the word "cuz" haha there are plenty more ways to say whanaunga and these two cuzzies are capable to get a cousins stomach pumped if your not careful hahaha! This is by far my favourite episode, Much love Brothers

Loved watching this. It's the simple things we yearn for in this life. Yet we are heavily consumed and distracted with all this new age & modern BS. Great reminder for an ex-pat kiwi like me 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾

It's hard to pick a favorite of Piri's tiki haere but for me.. this one comes pretty close. Spending time with Richard Meihana and.his whanau at Tolaga Bay / Uawa nui a Rua Matua was.a.great experience. Richard is such a humble man.. very resourceful and honest about his hunter gatherer lifestyle. Was such a pleasure to watch this episode. Kia ora to Piri and his production team for this great show..

what a episode. this ep definitely hit the spot. inspiring me to pass my hunting and fishing knowledge to my kids one day and be gatherer for my whanau.
Awsome vid. Home is were the heart is.
This channel deserves more attention
I've really learned a lot from watching videos of all the Pacific Islanders. Every tribe different but the same. Family and honoring ancestors are a very important part of their lives. While the rest of the world forgets their roots the Polynesian Culture survives as the old teach the young. Tradition is very important.
Kia hora te marino, kia whakapapa pounamu te moana, kia tere te karohirohi i mua i tou huarahi
"May the calm be widespread, may the ocean glisten as greenstone, & may the shimmer of light forever dance across your pathway" What a very "Heartfelt" episode cuzzies, full of aroha & respect for the moana & appreciation, love & the undying strength of wnahau, Mauriora whanau
