I saved this recipe and I never do because this looks the closest to my grandma watching her make them and I love them and they were big drop biscuits The only thing is I bought buttermilk cuz that's what she made hers out of can I substitute the milk for buttermilk please anyone who knows I appreciate the response and bring back a memory that I've missed so long of my grandma's biscuits so thank you for sharing your recipe
I grew up on them biscuits and cornbread too with pinto beans and fried taters. Man, I'm hungry now.

I made these today (using almond milk and vegan butter due to dietary restrictions) and they turned out amazing! I had never made biscuits before but having moved to the South two years ago I thought it was a must to try them, and I am glad I did. Paired them with vegan sausage gravy for a great meal!

@@ConnorMinix ok, ive made them twice now. They have been great both times. The second time I used seasoned salt instead of regular salt and I added some Chipotle powder. Oooohhh man that set them off just right. I'm contemplating using this as a batter for fried chicken its so good.

Nice recipe, but I'm gonna exchange those ugh, ALL those GMO ingredients, and exchange them for ORGANIC brands of those three ingredients....so much healthier! But yeah, good recipe!
What if you don't have oi ? Can you melt down butter 🧈🧈🧈
We have not tried this for this recipe specifically, but we do believe that melted butter will work.

use butter. seed oils are bad for ya!
