    2nd video I've seen whereby foilboard was used for canopy insulation and I must say that I'm now sold on the idea. Have seen some other solutions but this product is at least fire rated and cheap as well. Thanks for the content. Cheers

    I'm curious as to why you have the reflective side on the inside as opposed to the outside? Everything I've read says to have reflective facing outside 🤷‍♀️
    Thanks for the vid, we are now considering doing our canopy as well as the caravan

    • @GoneTravelingOZ
      @GoneTravelingOZ  Год назад +4

      Silver on the inside only due the green on the other side would have looked ordinary every time I opened the canopy, best thing for the canopy helps keep the temperature down when it’s hot
      Thanks for watching appreciate it

    Gday mate, looks great. I'm gonna do something like this to my canopy. Just wondering how that spray adhesive has held up I'm the heat?

      Also, how many cans did you use for the whole job? Cheers mate

      Gday Mate, cheers yeah it came up well. That adhesive spray works awesome had some bloody hot days where that canopy would have been damn hot hasn't let go highly recommend doing it if you get a chance and it only used not quite 1 tin of spray. hopefully that helps, thanks for watching.

    Hi there. I see this video is a year old now. I'm interested to know how well the foilboard has performed in that time and has it kept the heat out? - Thanks for your video.

      Hey Mate, yes been awesome addition to the canopy still keeps the heat out glad i done it, only down side is the foil board does get marked easy if your not careful thanks for watching appreciate it.

    Hey mate. 1 year on how is it holding looking at doing this then added marine carpet on to it. Have you noticed much improvement with heat

    • @GoneTravelingOZ
      @GoneTravelingOZ  9 месяцев назад +2

      Hey mate best thing I’ve done to the canopy been 40degrees outside and certainly way less than that inside of the canopy which definitely helps the fridge if you can get it done it’s well worth it and the marine carpet will look great 👍🏻 thanks for watching appreciate it mate

    Hey mate, bit of an odd question but how much did the canopy affect your fuel economy? Awesome vid by the way!

    • @GoneTravelingOZ
      @GoneTravelingOZ  Год назад

      hey mate, hasn't really affected it too much the new setup wasn't much heavier then the old one plus the new setup definitely out weights the old by a massive way.!! cheers for the feedback and thanks for watching.

    Hi mate, how's it holding up, is it still held in place with ye spray, and most of all is it making a difference as far as the heat goes?

    • @GoneTravelingOZ
      @GoneTravelingOZ  2 месяца назад +1

      Hey mate have sold the Ute about 6 months ago, never missed a beat with the spray and would highly recommend doing something similar if you can the heat difference was crazy without it

      @@GoneTravelingOZ thanks for the reply mate. I was actually looking at putting it under the pergola roof because during summer it's ridiculous out there, so looking for a cheaper option as the insulated panels designed for pergola roofs are so pricey!
