I was there when they shot this! I was 4 years old & my mother was the crazy lady screaming "Come on for Steven" as my dad bowled next to Jack! My dad didnt believe me when I said he was on youtube!! 😁 one of the highest scoring bowling moments on TV! this is exactly where my love of bowling came from, thanks for posting this! ❤👍
That's awesome! Thanks for sharing. I remember watching this when it aired. I went to school with Jack's cousin in Milford. Jack sadly passed away a few months ago. Too young.
@@kylebertulli4435 thank you for sharing this I will be sure to tell my dad right away!! That’s horrible! My dad has both of his knees replaced so sadly his bowling career ended but it’s still near and dear to his heart. He absolutely loves that he had the chance to bowl next to jack because he was a legend to him!! RIP and condolences to his family from mine!
@@kylebertulli4435 I'm so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. When I made it to the show I hoped that there were 3 people I didn't want to bowl against. When I arrived at the taping and there was Jack. He was one of the best bowlers of the time. It was one of my best matches I have ever had. He was a great sportsman and competitor and he was a high point in my bowling career. He was one of the greats.
Thanks so much for finding this show. I remember watching this match with my grandfather when it first aired. I hadn't always watched candlepin bowling regularly before this year, and it was really something to see someone get four strikes in a row.
THANK YOU FOR THIS :D This is the show where Jack rolled 4 strikes in a row, which starts at 37:25 if anyone is curious. And that 4th strike....you could call that the $1,000 messenger shot ;)

Haha my poor dad he knew it was over after that but loved his chance to be on this incredible show!
7:37 what an incredible start to the whole match. I wanted to share every ball but this is just too good
3:18 unbelievable
RIP Jack Saniuk
His candlepin legacy lives on!!!
Jack looks like Fire Marshal Bill when he bowls.
37:30 Don Gillis: A Hammer!
2:22 ❤
37:30 the last triple strike, let alone four bagger ever thrown on this show.
41:08 Don Gillis: Jack Saniuk, Oh, wait a minute, wait a minute! Piece Of Wood, Yes!! He has four strikes a row in the same string!!
LeCivita is a good spare maker

Jack is the true definition of "big oaf".
