    Thanks for posting these videos. I loved watching these as a kid and loved going to this bowling alley in Natick. Sad it's closed these days.

    1:43 Alluding of course to his son, Jeff, who would go on to become an outstanding candlepin bowler in his own right. He was just a little too young to have appeared on Channel 5, but he made several appearances on Stars & Strikes during the Lutsk/Morin era.

      Hell yeah candlepin bowling is still being played. A lot of bowling alleys are closing though Worcester MA where it was invented just had their last bowling alley close during the COVID lock down.

      There are still many that exist in New England. There are ten pin bowling centers that have several lanes dedicated to candlepin.
