2023 (November) would be the 60th Anniversary of the long running sci-fi TV show Dr Who and 2023 (December) 60 years since the Daleks first appeared on TV. Plenty of "Potter style" different coin opportunities from that show ... a Dalek on a coin would be hillarious as well as awesomel!!

Yes 20p are my fav denomination. Like the isle of Man one. Howard Carter discovered Tutankhamun tomb, he was an British archaeologist so there is the significance. Also i think the Royal mint might make a set for the Commonwealth countries, the territories, Crown dependency and the countries of the UK

Interesting no one has mentioned a Remembrance coin this year - the first year for a while there's not been a UK one.
I found a 20p that is rotated wonky is it worth collecting?
I think somehow there could be a corgi coin somehow.

One to commemorate 20 years since last concord flight or 150th of the Kennel club or 200 years since Charles Macintosh made the first rain coat.
I found a 2009 20 p it’s got a 1 next to the dotted line at bottom of coin is it valuable
2023 - 100th Anniversary of first Wembley FA Cup Final, and if the RM are continuing with the Music Legends £5 coins, then it's 50 years since Pink Floyd's album Dark Side Of The Moon was released.

Seems like a draw to me... Grosey found 5 of the 2008 and 2 territories. You found 1 2008 and 3 territories. That being said I prefer his IOM Russian clock to your IOM viking. The others where stonking wins... this seems very drawy to me.

I'm not a big fan of the 20p coin, in my opinion, they don't look very good after a short time in circulation, unsure why...they seem to suffer from wear and tear fairly quickly, and many have damaged edges.

It will be 70th years when Winston Churchill is knighted by Queen Elizabeth II. (24th Apr 1953). I think christoper should have a member from the royal mint on this podcast with grosey to verify what new and what questions that you could to ask to answer them.

Seems highly bizarre to switch to the portrait of Charles, then continuing to release coins with the Queen on them afterwards... The FAQ doesn't actually say that is what will happen, all it says is that this set of coins will be the only coins to feature Charles this year. Very unusual if it does happen.
