Is the premium lens guard strong for rock climbing in the mountains? Especially with accidental scratches with rock. I have found that the standard one is very delicate and keeps getting scratched
I love your channel but I have to ask you a question. I was watching a video from Iphondo about how Insta360 was asking it creators NOT to mention their sponsorship for video content (which I believe is Illegal). My question is that something they ever asked you to do ???
Ye it sucks bigtime that some employees really took this approach. Fortunately ive never been asked such thing and if, i would decline. It’s illegal and i would get in just as much trouble myself by not disclosing
honestly the standard ones are good enough unless you're doing something crazy. Also from some other videos I've watched, some reviewers preferred the image quality from the standard lens guard over the premium ones
No word if sponsered but I guess so for having no remorse destroying a brand new X4? Fine it helped me to see the difference in both options but there were other ways to test this out, no?
@@patrickmckay7762 no need to smash in the camera hard liked this, just letting the camera fall on the side and the lens would be the first to hit the concrete... But hey, maybe he got green light from Insta360 to do this this way.
he smashed it with an RC car at 35 mph and it took 9 hits. it will probably take more than 1 fall on concrete to break. use your brain and stop being so angry.

Image quality with lens guards? Do you get lens flares etc?
Some, but did this test so now i need a new one first. But in the maldives i did see some ye, but it comes down to how you use and hold it

Man, you're killing me seeing that thing all scratched up lol My OCD would would go crazy ;)
😅
Dang. I got the standard ones. Pity it’s basically garbage. Then again. Not planning on doing weird stunts with it so I think I’m good for now.

@@charlesc4325yeah I saw the same thing so I left the premium ones out. Pity that the standard ones are this brittle though.
@@creativepicnl actually that's pretty funny because I did the same thing. And now watching this video, I want to buy the premium ones.

It's sponsored. And how else do you test damage durability without putting a camera at risk?
