- Met with Australian Foil Lord Alex Hayes to foil the cliffs of Uluwatu, Bali. Such an epic session ended in disaster, but it’s all apart of the fun right?

Daaamn. I went from bliss to feeling so bummed hearing about the litter. Never been there so I had no idea it was like that. Totally f--ked up, what humans do to our precious waters.
I mean just remember a lot of that trash is surfers around that area doing this same stuff
What can be done about the trash? Avoid single use plastics. In simple ways, like when you get that smoothie, ask for a paper cup instead of a plastic cup.
You’re talking about these ppl as if you’re a separate species. Any idea where all your trash goes? Yea… right in the ocean like everyone else’s so get off your high horse
@@dadeee7776 it isn't. It's water bottles, plastic bags, children's toys, rope, packaging. In Bali, loads of crap just washed up on shore from other islands
And thousands of shipping containers sunk, smashed or lost at sea each year cause mega ocean litter. So it's demand for consumer goods all in all. Good on Kai n Cariuma for bringing it up 👍
I was there 40 years ago, windsurfed in Benoa or Nusa Dua, can’t say which but do remember the big fish near me ! The island of gods, with more and more tourists, is now an Australian dependency I guess

Amazing video. The irony of talking about getting hooked up on trash in the ocean and then leaving splinters of plastic off your board in the ocean. Hope you can use your reach to help clean up these places.

Another broken MFC foil, I loved the design and feel but I've broken (and paid for) so many that I can't justify staying with them. The buid quality just aint there. Digging my new Unifoil though.
