Yearly Meeting Explained

Yearly Meeting is an annual gathering of Quakers in Britain to come together and discern the direction of the faith in Britain.
Quakers from across Britain can attend with both members (of the society) and attenders (of a local meeting) welcome. Quakers from other communities around the world are welcome too.

I am convinced that Friendly ways are the way of the future. Especially now that we can be hyperconnected via the wonders of the internet. IMHO, it's either do business like a Quaker, or use violence.
The former takes patience, perseverance, benevolence, empathy, grace, humanity, kindness, mercy, sympathy, tenderness, charity, clemency, consideration, heart, humaneness, softness, tenderheartedness, yearning and compassion.
The latter is far easier.... in the short term.
The former is far more rewarding. In the short term, and into eternity.
