Thanks so much for this wonderful informative video. Our backyard is shady so in 2020 I started growing vegetables along with the edible flowers and native plants already in our sunny front yard. The biggest surprise has been getting to know many neighbors who stop to chat. I love sharing my harvests. I especially love to let children see the plants growing and pollinators flitting around. It is Nov. 12 and in southest Wisconsin I am still harvesting some cherry tomatoes, carrots, beets, kale, endive and some herbs. Today I picked lemon balm and mint and made tea. I also raked leaves for mulch and compost to enrich our soil. I'm retired now, but everyone can find some time for growing plants. Fabric pots/grow bags are a great way to get started. RUclips gardeners are a great resouce. Expect some disappointments. Learn from them and keep growing.
