When Karlos said that adopted kids aren’t medical devices for infertile peopls that was a whole world. When people tell infertile to just adopt, this needs to be the response. Then his view on parenthood shouldn't be about the need or want of the parent but the best interest of the child. Karlos was dropping bar after bar.

Those adopted parents that abandoned him need to be prosecuted.

Almost 80% of children in foster care are not black, although like Carlos’s foster father we foster outside the system. As parents of only boys we have fostered many of our son’s friends and other teen family members by the request of their parents. My now adult sons and other family members carry on that tradition. The comment I hear often when white people adopt black children is why don’t black people adopt or foster, we do, just outside of the system like Carlos’s foster dad. I was forced to become a legal foster parent once because I told this child’s mother’s story, how she asked me to care for him because he was one of my sons friends, she was a mandatory reporter, something unknown to me then. She said either she had to report or I could, I did. He had lived with us about 6-8 months by then, i provided for him like my other boys. Because he was now in the system the state provided financial support. About a month after that his grandmother decided she would take him in, the social worker came to collect him, no prior conversations, he said he wanted to stay with us. This boy is 15 or 16 years old by then 6’ tall, social worker returned a few days later and threatened to call the police if I didn’t “release him”. I told him that he has to go to his grandmothers, we both cried. Two weeks later his grandmother had placed him in a boys group home, a different social worker asked if he could return, sadly the answer was no, I had the vivid memory of being threatened by the police, I have minor children to consider. Since I was already background checked I asked if he could visit and that happened. He reconciled with his mom as a young adult and he still calls me mom too❤. Long story I know. To Carlos your story reminded me of my story and have other stories too, how some boys would sleep at our home without my knowledge, parents putting them out, my boys let them in through their bedroom window. My sons of course told me about these incidents as adults. One mother had a older child who was physically dangerous to the young son, he lived with us but she saw him very often, cared for his financial needs. There are so many stories like mine to count, they are not reported by media

Thank you for sharing your story. Definitely check out Karlos'd RUclips and tik Tok as he is a huge advocate for foster youth and parents.
We actually talk about the fact that black people tend to adopt and take in youth without going through adoption, it will be posted soon.
      Thanks for your support!

@@AdoptedGals I’ve watched a number of Famata’s videos on TikTok and wanted to make sure that I connected if TikTok shut down. This topic is not new to me, and Famata’s story is the rare public story I’ve heard about the damage caused raising Black adopted children in all white environments, although in a number of ways it mirrors many who are now biracial adults, raised by single white women.

This is general statistics. The important information to assess is the % of kids in foster care per community.

Hawa interesting name, but please wear more appropriate clothing. Please pay attention because he said his age in every stage. Carlos I’m sorry this all happened to you. I’m glad you are getting the help you need. Fatmata watch this video back and watch your face. Practice in the mirror and tape yourself. Watch newscaster and women talk shows and watch their faces and learn to keep your face interested, but brighter and with a little bit of a smile. Hawa has a better resting face. Ladies the boobs don’t need to be in the hootchie position to be a professional videographer. Hawa the top is pretty, but throw a light white scarf to cover the deep plunge. Carlos I’m happy that you can still be happy and have joy in your heart. 💜 Ladies this was all said to help be better. Weirdly look at Oprah’s young work in the 80ies. That woman created her own IT FACTOR and the empire she build was amazing. Maybe write her and ask to get some pointers.

From Fatmata: My facial expressions is my part of who I am. This a laid back interview style podcast, not a professional newscast. Stop projecting and go start your own channel. Next time wait till someone asks for your opinion.
