Hey guys new subscribers here...our family have been following a few of your videos recently as we just brought a caravan very similar to your rig and it's great that your showing the map of how to get to the places that you visited and really great idea that you show what some of the road type/conditions are like, it really helps for future planning of trips, were also loving the little tips and tricks you find helpful along the way...Great stuff guys keep up the awesome videos!
My wife and I are new subs too and I am currently going through all of their videos (from the 1st episode) We are planning sth similar starting 2023 March/April and will travel for about 12-18 months. Yes, you are right. They are very informative and the maps, places, tips etc are super useful. Sadly, I don't think they are doing RUclips anymore, so they might not see your comment. But, as far as we are concerned...these guys are legends and very kind to take so much time to make these videos. Anyways, just saw your comment and decided to give you a heads up on their current status. Wish you guys all the best and safe travels. E&T
wowee loving your life ...awsm footage guys, really enjoying your videos, trips, good tips & stunning places ...have been to some of these & i'm definitely going to some more
I Lived On The 309 Road When I Was 11 yrs Old!…My Father Lives On Tiki Road Coromandel 2 This Day!..Hes 94 yrs Old Now!..And Here I Am!..Choosing 2 Live In NQLD!..The Summers R 2 Short In Summer!..Port Jackson & Port Charles Was a Favourite Camping Spot As a Family!
I am pretty sure that there is a very limited free camping area at Pauanui at the very southern end of the beach, at the base of mt Pauanui. The place near the boat ramp where u were would be great to lunch at, but not for overnight.
That would have been so good to know, will definitely miss that whole area in future, hope the local realise now how important freedom camping Kiwis are without the foreign tourists and are now a bit kinder!
@@RoadLifeNZPauanui is gorgeous and you could even just find a place just outside, around the entrance road to camp without being hassled That spot at the northern end where you camped is probably the most scenic place on Earth, but also the most pricey real estate.😮
Great video! So looks like Port Jackson is definitely a goodie. Would you be able to recommend your top favorite 3 or top 5 spots to stay in the top half of north island? We have a 4x4 Ute but she's fairly stock. We are from the south Island doing a trip next month all the way up but finding it hard to decide on spots like Port Jackson!
Yes! Thankfully, post lockdown we have had nothing but kind faces and words. Hopefully the arseholes stay in hiding or have a change of heart towards us.
Awesome set up guys.
Possibly one of the best spots on the coromandel.
Bit of a mission to get there but the time spent there recharges the soul 👌🥂
Beautiful video
Keep on the good work

Hey! East Cape (using Gisborne summer pass), port Jackson and around for sure, Tapotupotu in the Far North. Kai Iwi lakes is also lovely.
Awesome guys!
Unfortunately some people on that side are a breed unto themselves and are quite frankly, aresholes.
