- This is a frequently asked question in how to connect android phone to LG Smart TV.
There are two options, using built in feature called Smart View, Screen Mirror or Wireless Display. Or you can download the LG ThinQ app to connect your android phone to LG smart TV in 2022.

Unfortunately LG channels is also not available in my area. But it is a free streaming service that shows mainstream programs. ThinQ app allows you to remotely control your TV with your mobile phone , which is good

@@hegtmsa I can only cast apps - RUclips, Disney amazon prime etc. But it cant mirror my screen when using screen share. The tv won't even come up
@@silent--killz3176 are you using Android? Or iPhone cause it’s only iPhone that requires you to be on the same internet. What is your screen share function called on your phone?

Screen mirroring is crap, laggy af.. gonna get a chromecast instead, works way better. Now this is at my job, i will never buy an lg tv for myself
