Hey that's us! See ya with Part 2 on Thursday, September 5th! :)
Can you do Everything wrong with Chicken Little.
CinemaSins i see you never done the mummy tomb of the dragon emperor can you review this one?
Tricky bastards! :)
Not sining the fact pennywise claims hes a dancing clown but never dances
So, what, are we asking for poopy trouser times from the 2017 version? Because even if I found the newer version at all scary, that's still a really stupid scene that just piledrives the tone
Hard to dance in the sewer, not that I've tried. But I think he does do a bit of a dance later.
@@judaihyuga indeed I found his potty dance annoying!
Rawden god u have horrible taste in movies.
He dont even dance until the movie
Me waiting for Everything Wrong With Avengers Endgame in 40 minutes or less.
That should be interesting
"Everything wrong with Avengers Endgame in 0 minutes"
Because there is nothing wrong with it.
*change my mind*
pezco. there's no movie without a sin
pezco. Same comment, but 150 mins. Quit fanboyinng a cliche filled predictable crap movie made for the sole purpose of fan service
It's gonna be like 20 minutes
"Says everyone who remembers liking this movie and then watches it almost 30 years later" Nailed it
I can't claim to have ever liked it, though to my mind I think King's horror stories are all terrible, but I do prefer Tim Curry over the new guy. At least he looks like the kind of clown that could actually draw kids in to be murdered. The new design is trying way too hard to be creepy rather than effective.
Fist bump 👊
I never knew that the clown had a name until the remake cameout
I didnt know Seth Green was in this movie or Jonathan Brandis
I just rewatched this series today for the first time in probably 20 years, and tbh I enjoyed it much more than I expected to. Probably because it's so much more faithful to the books than the new movies.
King wrote _It_ during a time in his life when he was heavily abusing cocaine.
You mean his entire adult life?
This explains the ending

2019: CINEMASINS HAS FINALLY SINNED THE BOOK BEHIND A MOVIE
A L L C A P S
@@user-73a I found it appropriate for the gravity of this special moment ;)
@@sleepysera Can you explain the cinema sins joke to me? Like why did he sin it, what happens in the book?
@@sleepysera Holy shit lol, I never knew.
@@jackbandit2114 yeah, supposedly, that was to reinforce the magical bond the Turtle was using through then for only long enough to get out of the sewers and make the blood pact, but is done in a very weird way in the book.

Are you really asking why the town bully would target Mike in 1958? I think the answer is pretty obvious.
I'm stupid educate me please
nic nebby it is rasism
Henry literally uses the n word and they "don't know"
@RuleofVicus are you saying racism didn't happen in the 1950s? What are you saying?
RuleofVicus yeah racism is a myth, of course!
He calls Seth Green "ROBOT CHICKEN!" 5:43 😂👌
I never tire of jokes about the orgy scene in this book
SPYRO IS ONLY ABOVE AVERAGE
Wait what??
Plus they also kept out a creepy gay kid and the creepy gay kid sex scene of the book too lol
Necessary Evil i have questions...
Leo Wentzel In the book before they go to defeat Pennywise they are in the sewer and they decide, as a bonding activity, that they should all have sex before they possibly go to their deaths. So Beverly offers herself. It’s disgusting and so icky and thank god the movie didn’t include it.
One of Tim Curry’s best performances.
Agreed he had fun with this role
I agree with u completely
How the fuck was this 10 hours ago?
HU HA! HU HA! HU HA! HU HA! HU HA! HU HA! HU HA! HU HA! HU HA!
How did you comment this video 10 hours ago when the video is uploaded 1 minute a go
Pennywise obviously used the blood of kids for printer ink who wouldn’t
Plus, it's cheaper than regular ink and it's hard for a clown to just walk into Staples.
Someone who wouldn’t is someone who ran out of kids. Btw, can someone point me to the public park?
Cursed comments.
A meeting of the edgelord minds here. Douche bags.
@ nic . Wow. What is funny is the fact you THINK you are funny. When you are NOT
Jonathan Brandis was such a good actor. So tragic he ended so young.

@@kirstenc4279 oh, yeah. The ending is a bit messed up and a bit too detailed. But, it's because at their age especially the boys, sex is considered the only way to be an adult. So it makes sense, from their perspective. Doesnt stop it from being creepy though.
One thing never wrong about It: Tim Curry as Pennywise
True but least we have a close 2nd in Scarsguard
@Osman Yousif Clue is a masterpiece. If you haven't seen it, highly recommend it!
He was smashing as nigel thornberry in the wild thornberrys
Only thing I liked from this thing
Both actors did good portraying the character but i think bill skarsguard did better as penneywise he looked more demonanic.
*"What Is This, Days Of Our Pennywise?!"*
I don't know why, but that killed me laughing lol! 😂😂😂
The book was able to bounce between the two ages effectively because the thing was over 1000 pages long. You could literally fit every change of perspective roughly into its own episode in a season-long mini-series.
A "season-long mini series"
Thats both redundant and impossible to say is totally accurate.
A mini series only has one season, thus the name "mini-series", and as that particular type of show has no set episode count, it cant be said that the entirety of it's time jumping could fit as well as you say. Also...it has a gangbang featuring a group of 12 year olds. King really needs to be called out on that
"Wonder if it reads as well in the book... sweet jesus man" add 30 XD

Me and my mom constantly quote the
“There’s something turribly wrong hurr in Durry.”
Line to each other.
Regarding the "I was a teenage werewolf" thing:
1. The teenaged werewolf was one of the forms Pennywise assumed to terrify one of the kids because he had been badly scared by the movie so was essential to the story.
2. Yes, the original release was June 1957. In the book the first part of It took place in the summer of 1958 not 1960, so it was very plausible for the film to be back in theaters because...
3. Back then it was common for films to be re-released several times, especially horror and science fiction because they could be packaged into Saturday Matinee double-features
Adding to #3: More money in concession sales for the movie theater. Not too many people would go 3-4 hours without popcorn and/or a drink while watching a movie.
half the ti,e this dude is sinning his lack of understanding, not anything actually wrong with the storyline lmao
2 and 3 are the same you total douche
As someone who has experience in the funeral industry, I'm impressed they had a proper lowering device for Georgie's casket. But caskets are rarely lowered in front of the family and the hand crank is never left to spin on its own as the casket will rocket down into the grave like an express elevator to Hell. Minus one sin, plus two.

CinemaSins should get a sin for calling a sousaphone a tuba
A sousaphone is a marching tuba.

yeah stuttering is one thing and weird muscle contractions is another, his acting is odd
In regards to the Eddie Munster/Ed Grimley Bully, you have to remember every single Stephen King Story is set in either the actual 1950's/60's or a bizarre pastiche of eras heavily ladled over with 1950's/60's era slang, style, and music.
Especially any story set in the future. It's almost like he grew up in 1950's/60's era Maine.Wait.

Hey don't you be dissing Tim Curry that man is a national treasure. Them are fighting words.
Damn right!!!
You beat me to it!
Absolutely!!! Tim Curry is awesome in any role he plays!!!
I don't think it was meant to be a dis necessarily. More an observation. I understand why Tim got (and likely demanded) a "Special Appearance" credit. He starred in movies and this was a Made for TV movie filled largely with unknowns and movie stars.
He never dissed Tim Curry! He literally says he is the Bomb and says Clue is an amazing movie. So where did you get any indication he is dissing Tim Curry! ?
In fact, he sins the movie for saying Tim Curry is making a "Special Appearance". He plays IT! That's not a special appearance!

I remember years ago, someone mentioned that fucked up orgy.
I thought they were joking about it. Only a couple months back did I discover they were 100% serious, that Stephen King actually wrote that shit.
It's fucked up.
Yeah, it's fucking disgusting and King definitely shouldn't have put it in the book, but it represents more than just Bev being a hoe or just straight up cp. It's supposed to represent the kids turning into adults or something, because sex marks the line between childhood and adulthood. But he definitely could have gone about it better
I haven't read the book but I knew of that part. I really want to know what he was thinking when he wrote that and if he ever regretted it.

I kind of love how everything Tim Curry stars in seems to take a few years (or decades) for people to really appreciate it.
In the book Mike refers to himself as a lighthouse keeper keeping track where the losers go and waiting for pennywise to come back so he could sound the alarm

It prefers to kill kids because they're fear makes em tastier. Didn't kill Mike because it wants them all back to restore the order. (If you read the book.)
BuT tHe BoOkS DoN't MaTtEr
If I remember correctly, it didn't want them back. it didn't kill mike because it was hurt and went to sleep for it's sleep period. right? maybe I'm misremembering..
That's why we are able to say... "You should've read the book! Then you would know why."
Also, they interrupted it's kill spree and drove it to early hibernation. It only kills in 27 year cycles...hence, Mike had 27 years time to grow into an adult. Something that's EXPLICITLY EXPLAINED IN THE MINISERIES! Jeremy doesn't know how to movie.
The point of a film adaption is so you can see the story and not have to read it. Anything that requires additional research outside of watching the movie is a failure on the screenwriters.
Damn I still vividly remember the first time I watched It. I was around 6 or 7 at my grandma’s. She told me that I could go in my room (she had rooms for us for when we came over) and watch a movie on my TV while they were making Thanksgiving dinner. Me and my little sis went on the TV and we saw It. Us being idiots were like “it’s a clown this movie will be so much fun!” Ever sense then I’ve had an irrational fear of clowns, talking to strangers, and sleeping anywhere near books
Tim Curry's performance really shows how manipulative Pennywise can be. While the new one just oozes evil and dangerous the entire time, Curry's was nice and playful right up til the end.
