Her books are so awesome, having so much life in her paintings. you can kinda imagine yourself there watching the landscapes.

Thank you Teoh again! After your review I realized that I definitely need one of those books. I think I will get the first one to start )) I'm going to visit Erin's gallery this week, and maybe will have a chance to see her in person. As I find out I can purchase a book from her gallery as well. Very exited!

An impressive body of work indeed! I can't believe she paints one painting a week, especially when they are so big!!! Impressive. Astonishing. Incredible!
And that question about how many tubes of paint per painting would be rather interesting to know. I will have to remember to ask her.
I am so incredibly lucky to have her gallery so close to me. I will have to visit often... once a week to see a new paintng a week? xD
If you have a question you want me to ask her, just let me know. :)

Thanks for the book review, it is always helpful. Although the paintings and sense of colors are great, I personally wouldn't call it a unique style as this style has already been in existence by the French Impressionists.
To your viewers might I also suggest the work of Taiwanese artist Hsin-Yao Tseng whose work is a refreshing mix between Realism and Impressionism. I am not affiliated to him in any way LOL.

She probably uses a ladder when painting her very large canvases.

It is expensive, yes. But I don't think it can be priced lower considering the amount of work and production quality.

There may be truths to some situations limiting us. BUT, be careful to not make excuses for yourself so that you don't even try. How do I know? I know because I deal with fear of failure. I'm not saying that that is what you deal with, but it can be a part of many peoples' personality to easily quit before we put in the effort and hard work to accomplish something. The saying goes, IF there is a will, there is a way. Maybe start painting small; get a simple palette of primary colors; and/or find a system to hang the work in progress on walls or racks when you do multiple paintings. I'm sorry if I may come off as condescending, as that is not my intention. It is one of empathy and encouragement.
