My friend, who's mid-70s, wears Maybelline Dream Cushion, and it looks wonderful on her. I didn't have very good luck with it.

I have purchased foundations at Ulta that are drugstore brands. And they will let youcolor match a swab from their testers. I can't afford
expensive foundations, so it's great to find affordable ones that match your skin color. It's still a toss-up if they will work with your skin type/texture, but you can return them if they don't.

Here's a suggestion: If you use a bit of oil added to the RED TirTir Cushion Foundation, it works better! Not so drying.

I really should wait until you do all of the cushion makeup first and give us your thoughts on them .. I just ordered the Tir Tir and I am thinking it isn't going to match my skin tone. Two problems I am rather pale but usually have pink cheeks .. so pale my nurses think I am a vampire, go figure. Second problem , almost all makeup is TWICE the price here in Canada even on Amazon ... go figure again ?
All in all I think you got a really good colour match going on with these two ... I have never been to an Ulta ...sniff sniff

At 70, I still have such oily skin -- dewy foundations show all my truly huge pores. Matte ones emphasize wrinkles. I've given up on foundation. However, you have the greatest-looking brows. Full and natural looking. I have skinny brows from years of overplucking. Can you share tips on how you do your brows? Thank you!
