I don't eat sugar now! Healthy cookies without flour and sugar! Energy dessert recipe! You have to try this! You will definitely love the taste. ✌🏻🥰
Cooking recipe and ingredients:
Hello everyone!.
120 gr. (4 ounces) dates.
50 gr. (1.8 ounces) dried cranberries.
Pour cold water for 15 minutes to remove preservatives and activate useful substances.
Oatmeal 30 gr. (1 ounce).
60 gr. (2 ounces) almonds.
Fry the almonds in a frying pan.
Grind in a blender.
Remove the seeds from the dates.
Add dried fruits.
Grind in a blender.
Peanuts 30 gr. (1 oz.).
Fry in a frying pan.
Chop with a knife.
Add peanuts.
Pumpkin seeds 20 gr. (0.7 ounces).
Sesame 15 gr. (0.5 oz).
Add 15 ml honey. (0.5 fl oz).
Mix.
Create the spheres.
Place the balls in a silicone mold.
Flatten the balls.
Place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Dark chocolate without sugar 130 gr. (4.6 ounces).
Melt in a water bath.
Add 20 ml. (0.7 fl oz) olive oil.
Mix.
Grind pumpkin seeds 10 gr. (0.4 ounces).
Pour chocolate into silicone molds.
Garnish with pumpkin seeds.
Place in the fridge for 30-40 minutes.

I made these with a couple of changes. THEY ARE DELICIOUS! I added apricots and toasted walnuts to mine. Next time I will bake the base for 20-25 minutes and add the chocolate once they were more firm. I will also add some coconut shreds. Perfect treat and yummy with some plain Greek yogurt. Oh, I added some vanilla, cinnamon and a bit of ginger powder. Thanks for this fabulous idea!

Dates are loaded with sugar,so for me and my diabetes this is a definite no no but nice recipe with all the other grains and nuts.

I also use dry prunes and apricots. Try these instead of dates
yes...and chocolate "without sugar" is usually sweetend anyway with artifical sugar 🙄 Better one with stevia.

A cookie will obviously be calorie dense.
But the Fibre in the dates and cranberries can balance Insulin release in the bloodstream.
In moderation, definitely better than the regular cookies.

@@brendachew3769There is a big difference between processed white sugar and dates/honey/cranberries. Dates and cranberries have fructose, being fruit, and also contain nutrients and fibre. Honey is a very healthy food and has shown to be antimicrobial, even when eaten (not just topically). Using natural, unprocessed foods that contain sugars are much more healthy than using processed sugar. Dark chocolate, if it is pure, does not contain sugar.
I didn’t use the honey or cranberries … and it works out at approx one date per serve … you balance that with healthy fats and protein in your nuts and seeds and slow release carbs in the oats … i used organic dark chocolate. and only half the amount … with a pinch of salt on top … we like the bitter dark chocolate as it balances out the sweet dates …

Honey, cranberries and dates all have a lotttttt of sugar. You probably didn’t even need the honey with the sugar content in both cranberries and dates. Please learn sugar content is hidden in dried fruits even if it’s not white sugar. Dried blueberries or strawberry’s would have given lower sugar content then cranberries 🤷🏽♀️
Err yes, it's fructose - your body still needs sugar to convert it into energy ya :) the unhealthy sugar is sucrose. Macam faham :)

@@pysvtfa4 that’s true but it is still causes the release of insulin which causes fat storage. This is important for people that are diabetic or on a sugar/ carb restrictive diet
@@hoofyepaints159 Yes but sugar is sugar. It should still be limited, no matter the source. It causes the pancreas to work harder to make insulin… and insulin release causes fat storage. I’m making this point because obesity is becoming an epidemic because we don’t understand sugar in our diets .
