Also, my favorite metals to collect & invest in currently put in order of my #1 down the list: Graded Coins (Capped Bust, Seated Liberty, Morgans & Barbers), Gold (because it's awesome & portable), Silver (the work horse of metals, some opportunity here), Paper fiat (old cash from both America & Countries abroad) & Alternative metals (copper being king, but all metal has value)!

Good luck it is rare. I know a guy that found a Zerbe in a Morgan bin.
Have a couple of those novelty coins with cool designs, Have not tested them, but positive they are not silver.
I had my house burglarized about $8000 - $10,000 stolen in coins,jewelry and antiques over a month ago. I learned the hard way. Document everything you have to make it easier for insurance purposes but keep it separate from your collection's.
I feel your pain on breaking the book putting a coin into the hole.
