      @oble5621 yes been buying ms 64 common old ngc mostly $90-$100 and a few pcgs rattlers for $120-$140, I sold my 1893-s a few years ago, maybe get that soon in good-vg, but it must look decent.

    My understanding of the cac coins are they do not go up a grade or half grade just because it has green sticker just means it represents a solid 67 for the grade it was assigned no bumping up half or whole grades if so it would have gotten a gold sticker but the whole system is not exactly correct I have seen buffalo nickels with gold cac stickers that people want way more than 2 full grades would cost and nobody can explain the thought process it’s just a stickers and when guys think they have something that maybe only few have then they think it’s got worth a bunch rite beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say

    • @jadonnoble5621
      @jadonnoble5621  Год назад

      Thank you for the feedback. I know what you are saying on the ms 67 Morgan I was talking about. From my understanding CAC gives their sticker out to the upper level coins for a particular grade (let’s say A and B examples for the grade. For the 1885 p Morgan from 67 to 67+ it goes from about $2000 to $5000 (book value) so the CAC sticker really helps. Most CAC examples that I have seen for the 1885 Morgan go for around $2500 while the non CAC go for around $1500. I think CAC can help a coin that has a high grade and it helps having 2 companies look at a coin so you have 2 opinions. I know some people don’t like the CAC sticker but it seems to help especially on high end coins.

    A lot of great specimens here, really nice collection! That 1884-O is undergraded if it's problem free. I know it's the commonest of all dates these days but might be worth a crackout or crossover.

      @jadonnoble5621  5 месяцев назад

      @@fifteenbyfive I agree! I submitted that coin to ANACS and I thought it had a chance at a MS 65. The cheek was very clean. ANACS is very difficult on Morgan’s. They love giving 63s lol

      @fifteenbyfive 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@jadonnoble5621 Yep on camera it looks like a shot 65. ANACS is a lot more conservative than people realize. Just because they're cheap doesn't mean they're easy. Maybe it's best to leave it alone. It's kinda cool to have a prince of 63s. I think its better to have an undergraded coin in a holder than an overgraded one.
