Skelethon really deserves some props alongside it, it's got a fantastic first half and tons of the cuts on the backend deserve some props. Aes' storytelling on tracks like "Grace" and "Racing Stripes" rivals that of "Defender," "Dog at the Door," and even "No Regrets."

I actually think a lot of people took this decade for granted, because a lot of people focused too much on what was largely considered bad music even though it wasn’t all that bad that we completely ignored the large amount of great quality music that came out.
I don’t think I’ve ever been able to say this before but I 100% agree with every pick on this list. NAILED IT! Even had clipping and ase rock on here?? I know those records are on some lists but it’s usually only with other more experimental material. So seeing Impossible Kid along with Atrocity exhibition which are both mind blowing works of art, as well as the consensus champions of high art in high hop, MBDTF by Kanye and GKMC/TPAB by Kendrick just rounds this list out to really demonstrate how hip hop has come to be both the avante-garde AND the mainstream simultaneously. This is actually one of the best decades for music, if not THE BEST.

The impossible kid being so high made me happy.
Skelethon really deserves some props alongside it, it's got a fantastic first half and tons of the cuts on the backend deserve some props. Aes' storytelling on tracks like "Grace" and "Racing Stripes" rivals that of "Defender," "Dog at the Door," and even "No Regrets."

I actually think a lot of people took this decade for granted, because a lot of people focused too much on what was largely considered bad music even though it wasn’t all that bad that we completely ignored the large amount of great quality music that came out.
I don’t think I’ve ever been able to say this before but I 100% agree with every pick on this list. NAILED IT! Even had clipping and ase rock on here?? I know those records are on some lists but it’s usually only with other more experimental material. So seeing Impossible Kid along with Atrocity exhibition which are both mind blowing works of art, as well as the consensus champions of high art in high hop, MBDTF by Kanye and GKMC/TPAB by Kendrick just rounds this list out to really demonstrate how hip hop has come to be both the avante-garde AND the mainstream simultaneously. This is actually one of the best decades for music, if not THE BEST.
Faces by mac miller needs some love. Fr one of the best albums ive ever heard
