    Excellent info, Haku, thank you.

    If your opponent doesnt do a super on reversal youll still get hit.
    Idk what his training setting are that doesnt lead to a trade but if you do a 4 frame on 0 and the opponent presses their 4 frame you both. trade.
    To the people saying its a meaty. It isnt. Being at 0 means nobody is at frame advantage.

      When you chain light attacks it comes out faster, if you dont understand, i showed it, set your opponent to block and block reversal 4 frame, and if you do 2 lights chained together tell me wo gets hit, its the same thing, just bc the attack is whiffing, doesn't mean the next one comes out slower, it beats wake up mash 4 frame no trade. This tech is advanced, you don't have to use it, but no meaty in the game will be wake up lvl 3, this is the only option that will, much love.

      At 3:10 I misunderstood what you meant here. Didn't realize you were doing a frame kill with a light to chain it into the another light. This will be at other normals as you said.
      However the part with the super doesn't seem to work depending on the speed of super and if you chain or link the frame kill into the jab. It was much easier to do on Jamie's lvl 1 and 3 since they're 10f but couldn't do it on Kim's level 3 which is 8f reliably enough which more than likely mean it's not possible given how the numbers play out.
      Also I'm familiar with the using 0 on block to bait reversal supers as I've been doing it for 2 or more months in and out of tournament. Which is why I said if they do a super that isn't on reversal (meaning they delayed the super either intentionally or on accident) you will get hit assuming the super itself isn't something like 11f or below. I can otherwise press whatever normal I want and can Kara cancel into parry.
      What you've shown here is still interesting. Where did you learn this unless you came up with it yourself? I want to do some more testing to make sure. Because the 0on block into button will always allow me to trade if we both press 4f or I can parry if they super on reversal.

      I learned this with juri, i know it works with luke and ken, my friend did it, its very specific, and easier if you can chain 2 lights into a 0 frame, it works better, and my friend said he watched a Chinese luke doing something like this, so im not the frist to probably find this, definitely practice this in your own way, i don't think jp can do this, but he has his own setups that will beat stuff in the corner, not every character can take advantage of this, but its good to know

    Wont be able to play til later, but does the drive rush timing you use force you to DR if they block? I saw you talking about just stopping after the two lights if they are blocking. I don't see many times I have someone cornered with Blanka where I would be happy to commit 3 bars on them blocking.
    I see in your Jamie example you just are able to block/parry since the 2nd LK finished recovering. Its not like it ate your LK input during the super flash. What about invincible supers faster than 10 frames? If you look at 5:54 you are just frame perfect to block/parry after the LK whiffs, so this looks like a setup that works against 10f invincible reversals. Try against Luke's supers- it shouldn't work on SA1 or SA2 but should work on SA3 if I have the logic right.
    If that's right, is there any reason to have to get to +0? If I throw out a meaty LK at +5 on knockdown (like the usual wild lift blanka-chan setup in the corner) wouldn't I be able to still chain cancel and block/parry a slower super like this? Trying to figure out if this is just a convenient frame kill to make things auto-timed or something unique to +0 oki.
    Outside of the video questions- do you know of any Blanka discords? The general SF6 discord has a blanka channel but it only has a lot of day 1 combo guides and such but it looks like no one ever updated with a lot of common tech. I would love if I can avoid writing down all these things myself!

      You have to be 0, when your opponent does a super the game flashes, you are not allowed to hit buttons, you can mash all you like, you are allowed to parry after the flash, this isn't a blanka only tech, like i showed it works better with juri, and you dont have to commit drive rush, its just the auto pilot way, like i said, you can react. The point of this is against characters without an invincible wake up, or if they are in burn out, they can't do anything but block, also this works against any super, i don't have to try, you can try i know its good tech, i probably can't explain it right, but its very important.

      I just tried it in training mode since I had a few minutes. Sure enough even with +0 and all, it certainly does lose to SA1/SA2 for Luke but always beats SA3 just fine. If you click the timestamp I left you, you can see its not like your 2nd LK didnt come out during the super freeze, it just came out and recovered before Jamie's super is active.
      Have you actually tried it on fast supers?

      @RenSageHAKU  Год назад

      So if i show a video of it beating luke lvl 2 super, what do i get? I can easily prove you wrong, but what does that do for me?

    • @rpawlyv
      @rpawlyv Год назад

      Yikes brother I don’t think I came at you with any negative energy or asking you to prove anything- I saw the tech, was confused by what I saw on your screen, tried the setups and saw the results.
      You play the game and want to do well, so I just suggested you triple check it works for faster supers if you hadn’t already. You could have just said you did try it already and it worked, but it’s sounding like you aren’t 100% sure yourself!
      If its obvious to you what I could be doing wrong for it to only work on certain supers feel free to let me know if you want but guess I won’t be interacting with this channel if that’s the attitude you have

    This is just a meaty setup right?

    • @RenSageHAKU
      @RenSageHAKU  Год назад

      No, the whole point, is your zero, if your opponent wakes up super, the super will come out, your both zero, they wake up super, the screen will freeze, no matter what button or buttons you push it will not come out, you can just react and parry, but if that was all the tech it wouldn't be good, the reason its good, is bc you can pressure, and hit confirm. Also be safe from super. There are multiple ways to set this up, explore it, have fun with it, you have to practice this to understand what is happening.

    • @rpawlyv
      @rpawlyv Год назад

      yeah its probably just a meaty setup. He thinks the input disappeared in the super flash but his recordings clearly show the light sticking out. the only reason it 'doesnt work against od reversal' is just because those reversals are faster than the supers he tested. Love seeing people learn about light meaties though! Doing medium/heavy meaties are high reward but have too much recovery and can be beat by slower supers.

    This is a rather confusing video. There's a lot of "this" and "that" and "thing", and "I meant this" and 10 minutes into the video, "I forgot to mention that this is why..." etc... sounds lile there's good information here, but it's unclear because of the explanation. (Please take this as constructive criticism, the video comes off lacking structure and it isnt cohesive.)

      I know thats why i said it at the start, sorry for the editing, I wish i had more time to work on it, the information is there, but might be confusing. If you need more explanation i can help much love.

      @RenSageHAKU ill watch it a couple more times and try it out in the lab as I go along --- your video should still be helpful! Thank you for your efforts to help the community!
