I have had to do this the last couple trips.
Another travel tip that I think people should know: when you rent a car, you will be required to pay a large deposit. This is usually 2-3,000 USD. The deposit will be refunded, but plan for it.

Unfortunately, just as recent as a few weeks ago, everyone that came still had to fill out the paper form. I am not sure if the scanners were not working that day, but be ready to fill it all out again.
