    Register to E-travel: etravel.gov.ph/authentication
If you find it too difficult, (Oohh kalma baby kalma 🎶) you can register upon arrival. You should still be abel to board your flight to Ph without an etravel registration.

Hi Jenni, following your video i have a problem at 02:48 . After putting in my e-mail address i waited for 5 minutes, but didn't receive any OTP. Can't i use my german e-mail address for this? It happened to me with registering for a Saudi visa, that they didn't take my german e-mail addresses from various e-mail providers. Thank you for your answer !

Better to get it done before arriving to the Philippines. I was departing from Poland last summer heading back to Philippines where I am a legal resident and prior to getting a boarding pass I was asked to present the E travel as well as my IR card. Again prior to boarding they checked the E travel for the Philippines even though I was enroute to Dubai for a few hours stopover. This may vary from country to country but since we definitely will need it it's best to do it earliest possible before arrival. Also just an opinion about the new rules, the 5 minutes time to retrieve the code may be not enough for various reasons such as weak signal.

The Philippines is becoming such a hassle. This website takes a lot of tries to get it right. Try registering for a freaking SIM card. You pretty much have to give the freaking government DNA and your 1st born.

Omg, it's very stressful going home with all these requirements. Talo pa ang western countries as if Philippines is a high tech country. Mabagal na nga ang internet kung minsan nawawala pa. Kaya nga I was having a second thought of going home. Like me a senior who is not a comouter literate. Bakit di na lang ibalik yung travel form. Mas madali pang maintindihan. You have enough time in the plane to fill it up. Pabago bago pa from time to time ang kanilang travel policy. Hay only in the Philippines.

I saw a Filipino family denied entry at immigration here in Manila because they didn't have the eTravel completed. The website has problems and if you do it wrong it's confusing to find out why you did it wrong. Still amazes me that I travel Europe & North America with such ease (none of this eTravel BS but yet the Philippines still makes it hard to enter their country. The way Philippines airport immigration treats people at the airport is a disgrace (I have seen this but force to keep my mouth shut because of their power). Go to immigration at the airports in Canada and you will see the exact opposite. Philippines needs a complete transformation on their airport system.

I can tell you now, that the online customs form (although not mandatory) is a waste of time. You will still have to fill a paper copy upon arrival anyway. So do not bother with the online form. Good thing is E-travel now goes straight to the bureau of Immigration electronically therefore, not requiring a print out, a copy on your phone, or a QR code of any kind. When you hand your Passport to immigration, they already see your etravel doc on their system.

I have a girlfriend in the Philippines we're talking about marriage .I want to send a round-trip tickets to her to com to the USA for a short vacation and give her the money pay for all the food and lodging as simple as that !! like any other person in any other Nation who have the money to go on a short vacation and take a flight 😮question is ? Is the Filipino government going to stop her from coming over on a vacation to visit me? what does she need doesn't she just need a passport and a visa to come on a vacation? she told me that the government will not let her go unless she is rich!!!😢 please what's going on ? in the Philippines? Why can anybody in almost the whole world travel freely without hindrance but if you're a Filipino 34 years old and you have a round-trip tickets food and lodging in a destination ,me😊 why will they stop her from coming to visit and return to the Philippines please answer because this is what we dealt with just a few days ago! it's very alarming and frustrating to say the least to have to let our love go to throw our future plans of marriage in the garbage becauseof what seems to be a Dictatorship ? Wer not Rich

    • @Sara-jq8el
      @Sara-jq8el 6 месяцев назад +1

First of all you have to apply for a Visa ( fiancee Visa ) for her. I dont know If Theres such "commitment declaration" in USA All cost and health insurance should be shouldered by you. If your GF can provide a Statement that she has sufficient income in the Philippines, that is more important( IT could be thru Business, Job) then she can travel without any Help from an inviting person. If she could Not Provide any of These, you have to get a declaration that you are inviting her either visitor Visa or fiancee Visa. You could get more Info from your municipal hall or service Offices in your City. You dont have to be RICH to be able to invite someone.

Jennifer, when I was creating my etravel registration, it asked for the arrival date. Our ticket has an arrival date of 9-12, but on the form it is only letting you enter 9-11. Is that correct?

Akala ko ang changes, ibabalik na rin nila yung traditional paper base. Mga Seniors wala namang email address. Ang haba haba parin ng pila sa Arrival area.

Thanks for your informative video. I didn't know this. The good thing is you said in the comments you should still be able to board your flight if you didn't do this or know about it. I will go ahead and register. Just one question. After registering it generates a QR code which you show to the immigration officer for scanning. So will a screen shot on my I-phone or laptop or a print out of the QR code be ok? When I arrive my I-phone will be offline. If I just show a photo of the QR code from my I-phone to the immigration officer will it still work offline?

mind boggling double data registration which your passport is scanned and holds .......maybe it is to deter rather than encourage visitors .certainly offers no added protection or help to any authority in the Philippines and now you need customs clearance for prescribed medication for which you need to register...... is there no end to this data harvesting system .........if they don`t want visitors just close down the tourist economy and everyone will go elsewhere.....I`m sure the other countries will welcome the additional income the visitors bring and they don`t apply all the extra hoops which now need to be jumped through just to have a holiday ............

Hi Jennifer I came from the US and that’s for 4 weeks. Then went to London for 10 days to visit family. When registering for etravel back to the Philippines, what would be the country of origin that I’d declare, is it London or US? I’m a dual citizen by the way, thank you so much

Hello po, may tanong ako. I recently got married but did not have time to change my name on my passport, however when I bought my ticket I placed it under my old name which is on my passport. Is that ok? Would I get in trouble bc my new last name is different legally than my maiden name on my passport?

I'm hoping to fly back to the states with my fiance soon , but have a question. I know that I must have a ruturn ticket upon arrival in the Philippines, but is it ok to have a one-way ticket there and a one-way ticket back? The reason I ask is because I want my fiance and I to have the same itererary on the return trip, so want to purchase the return tickets together.

Why Immigration requires to upload your picture when in fact each inbound traveler (foreign or nationals) has already a picture in his/her passport. Philippines is the ONLY country that do this. What a dummy. Are they (immigration officials) thinking how vulnerable and risky for the travelers that can be easily hacked, stolen identity theft or identity fraud? These concerns need to be brought to the Philippines Immigration.

I was thinking same thing, why do we need to upload a pic? technology or any websites are not that safe at all, esp with our personal info e.g. dob, etc
