1.2 lakh, to 2.7 lakh ki progression in 20 years is an increase of approximately 4% annually and that to in a 5-6% inflation with no permission for private clinical practice. This job is a JOKE
The salaries will also get updated multiple times, as the payscale keeps on getting updated,within these 20 years. Plus there are many additional perks associated with the job, the main being wlb and job security. Also the current scenario of private practice after pg is dreadful in most states, and i am not even mentioning the enormous amount of work, luck, cunningness, and effort that it requires to build up your practice.
The corporate pay (after pg) is also a big joke, and they exploit freshers to the highest degree.
Considering all these factors upsc cms is a very good option , for a first gen doctor.
In india value of postgraduate is 2250 rs only😂😂

Depending on your Authority they will give you extension or not and even if given you have to join exactly after 3 years..So immediately after completing PG you have to pay your bond in college/hospital & immediately get Bond free certificate as there will not be even one day relaxation for completing Bond procedure

Mam this Nov I will give UPSC CMS exam I have doubt regarding posting if I chose railways.. cadre any choice given for girls for home district ..if they get some distant railaways posting?
IF you want home town or Nearby areas, Don't go for Railways as they will put you in any state even if you have good Merit( unless you have Topped the list) One of my South Indian Friend got AIR 42 which is Extremely good still she got posting in Nagaland ( which was even not in his Preferences still) So what I want to say if you choose Railways you have to be ready to put your self in any state & "Accidental" Transfers in your lifetime
first focus on 21st nov paper... and if u want to acheive some great heights in ur life then u have to leave ur comfort zone... if u get neetpg seat other than ur hometown than also u will go .. then take upsc cms job also transfers are very easy if u want to switch in ur hometown but only condition is vacancy should be there in ur hometown.

ideally u cant practise as a doctor after the job hours and outside ur campus... but many people do at their own risk... illegal but they take risk so its upto u

Mam, I cleared neet pg 2021 with 7k rank. Want to give upsc cms exam in nov this year. Is it possible to avail both? But since I'm from WB, we have a bond post pg of 3yrs. So, once j r into WB pg, u r in for 6yrs. So, can I be on study leave for 6yrs in upsc if I get selected? &after that can continue upsc after these 6yrs?
Upsc don't entertain state bond only 3yr educational leave.
Make state authorities understand that you will already serve government through cms

If you want totally stable life, Less workload & want to live in Delhi lifetime then MCD is best..If you have no problem with Transfers, comparatively more workload, Night duties and Emergencies then Go for Railways

In my opinion if u havent pg degree dont join railway bcoz if ur are only mbbs u will posted in health unit.u r only one at health unit and a duty time will be 24×7 in call and no duty off even u attend emegency and station call whole night.but if u have pg then u ill get posting to central or divisional hospital so there can plenty of drs and can share duty so no countinues n8 and emergency on call.so if ur only mbbs join cghs so duty time is 8 to 2.no night duty or oncall it is cool.
