HI! Great video. I have a question about the ISO auto min SS function. I love the idea of this but when I set it to 250 and my ISO to auto ISO, even in AP and P mode, my shutter speed is still jumping down to super low shutter speeds like 1/30th of a second. Any idea why? Its kind of breaking my heart!

What metering mode do you suggest ? Multi or center

On your video at 24:55 you were talking about focusing and that you could click on the screen onto where you want to focus I try to do that with my camera and it’s not doing it what setting do you have it on in order to do that?

You have to activate the touch screen. I think by default it’s the “Trash” button that toggles it.

One of the best overview for wedding shooting with Sony ARiii! Thank you!! Do you use flash photography when bride walks down an isle in a church? Isles are usually not as lit as the stage where the ceremony happens, that’s why I am asking.
PS: Flash photography tutorial for Sony ARiii would be awesome to see, esp on camera flash.

Generally I don’t use flash for ceremonies, unless the natural lighting REALLY bad. I’ll try and put together a video soon as 2021 weddings begin here

Why is Phase detect off? does it focus better in low light?

The phase detect option just turns on/off lines that show where the phase detect AF points end.
