I was just about to come up in here to say this. If anything Akkala is one of the most densely packed areas for being such a small portion of the whole map. Let’s also not forget the citadel, rist peninsula, Skull Lake, and “Tingle Islands.” I know the islands are technically a part of Lanayru as they’re revealed with the Lanayru map, but whatever. I consider them Akkala
I enjoy riding my horse there and trying to snipe wolves or boars off of it.

Mines faron region but akkala does have such a nice cozy autumn feel to it.
I really like Rito Village. I find it peaceful and homey for whatever reason. Even though I've never seen mountain irl. The whole region itself, though? Meh. Mostly, I just really like exploring the mountains. It's fun and pretty and you can find cool stuff in the mountains and shield surf.

Hebra- Im not even joking when I say I just love sitting in the hot springs and staring at the snowy mountains for like 20 minutes straight. It heals link, and my mental health

I moved to San Diego from New England. I miss the snow sometimes. I sit under a cliff in the game, light a fire, put on headphones, and watch it snow while foxes and lynels wander in the distance. Absolutely relaxing.

Hebra is my favourite, not because of the minigame, but because its scary and empty and lynels are there. Its such a lonely vibe that it calms me down.
I like it because winter is my fave season. I love going to Selmie’s spot and warming up next to the fire, because it just gives such a chill and cosy feel before I… well… play her mini game.
I love going there for the bird people. Tulin, Molina, and the rainbow girls are so damn cute! I think that rito village is the only village where people don't make assumptions abt you without knowing them.
There's only like 2 or 3 lynels in the entire Hebra region

I really like the lake region in south hyrule. It just feels so disconnected from the rest of hyrule without feeling like a totally different world. Real peaceful.

Guardians are hella easy bro, i killed one with a pot lid man all you gotta do is parry or break their legs off man. Or something more basic like shooting their eye.
Rn im only 2 guardian cores away from getting full guardian armor on my first ever playthrough without even beating a second divine beast. Truly a easy enemy.

The lightening is fine since i have bothe the thunder helm and rubber armour upgraded twice, but the rain is super annoying. Totally worth it for the hearty durian and the easy dragon farming though.

Yeah honestly the zora domain's architecture is my favorite out of all the zones, the sleek white and blue color scheme is beautiful, and the music makes it feel so relaxing there.
Gerudo is by far the best region! It has 2 settlements, alot of ancient ruins and the atmosphere is just amazing. I loved the desert adventure vibe when I first visited the region and everything seemed bigger.

Skull lake, Akkala Ancient Tech Lab, Lomei Labyrinth Island, the Spring of Power, Tarrey Town, Akkala Citadel, the Great Fairy Fountain, Spiral Peninsula, unique extreme weather patterns, and then of course as mentioned there's the really nice aesthetic too. Akkala is one of the most content-packed regions in Hyrule, this statement made no sense.
Probably just cause nothing is involved in the main quest line other than the memory

@@glen5185 I just said that to make the guy mad but they never said anything back, tarry town is great and each region is fun in a different way, main quest or not. I liked exploring for miskos treasure spread all over the map.
Death mountain is just so nice to climb around! For some reason, it's design makes it so that I never run out of stamina even when I'm dashing while I climb

I actually really like Necluda, its just kinda chill, and Hateno village is there. Plus its usually the first region you go to after getting pff of great plateau and its where you get the canera function

Not to mention, in TotK, Necluda is the province that brought PIZZA to hyrule. There's nothing boring about pizza!

Literally same sometimes I just wanna explore hyrule castle and I don’t plan on killing them but then I get shot by a guardian and go on a revenge killing spree once again.
They were intimidating at the beginning of the game but late game they’re easy
fr and you get like 10-12 drops usually and I use it at fang and bone, I'm trying to get the whole dark set and the lynel mask
I like the tropical / jungle vibe that faron gives me, minus the rain I don't like the lightings and rain at all

Because he's always assumed to be the reason why anyone likes the Zora or their region. I used to be pretty neutral towards him, but this sort of thing has made him really distasteful to me. I like the Zora because I like their architecture and the fact that they are as close to merfolk as this game has. It annoys me that all of the other interesting or beautiful things about the Zora get brushed aside for "haha hot fish man go brrr"

I do love Urbosa. She's a freaking badass and I have a lot of respect for her. However, my favourite region is the area with the pitch black forest, it was fun.
Urbosa is just such an icon, she definitely gave me a lot more confidence as a teen to try emulate her.

I like Lanayru cuz it feels the most peaceful to me, even tho it's raining and there's alot of monsters, compared to the others it feels so calming
I like Gerudo because the divine beast quest has some meat to it. The stealth mission and boss fight in the Yiga Clan are much more entertaining than taking some electric arrows. Or hitting a few targets. Or saving Yunobo.
I frankly think there should’ve been more boss fights in the divine beast questlines. Imagine having to battle a corrupted Dinraal to save Yunobo, and in the process getting a scale that you don’t know the purpose of yet. Or having to seek out a mysterious herbalist to help an injured Teba, only to realize that the herbalist is an evil witch that Link needs to defeat in order to get medicine. Or having to defeat a giant electric chuchu in order to gain Muzu’s trust.
I feel like Teba and Rito region in general was pretty rushed. It felt so.. small and undercooked compared to other regions. Teba was a huge missed potential for a character as well, doesn't believe in your abilities and challenges you. I think it would be neat if he gave Link a lot of trials that get harder with each one eventually giving one that's impossible for anyone but Link (maybe something with the Sheikah Slate??). That way you'd earn his respect and the rest of the divine beast challenge could go on as it is. Meanwhile in the actual game he gives you a piss easy target practice and is immediately like "oh okay you are kinda good" and doesn't question Link anymore. Bruh the optional horseback target challenge is much harsher than this and the guy contantly roasts you if you do poorly

I like that area around where you can get Ganon’s horse (big boi), plus there’s two lynels nearby for fun combat and materials, and I love that I can do a large circle just riding my horses there

Necluda is the chill spot when you just don't feel like fighting much. It's my comfort zone for sure, but when I feel like going on an adventure I got to the Hyrule fields and kill every Gaurdian I see. Idk what it is but every time I go there I always find something new. After that I go shield surfing in the snow or seal surfing in the desert. The game is just so good. I kind of wish they had more interactable objects like sitting on chairs or forming a tent for camping, and while you're in camp you can sharpen your weapons to give them a buff. I hope for some more awesome things in the tears of the kingdom.
Taking my horse from duelling peaks to Kakariko and then down to my Hateno house is my favourite trip in the entire world.
Central Hyrule: Amazing music inside the castle plus there is my fav set of weapons the royal guard set they fit so good with the dark link outfit plus that black shield looks amazing like an alternate version of the hylian shield.
CORRECTION FOR AKKALA AND CENTRAL HYRULE: you love Guardians and especially THEIR OH SO GLORIOUS PARTS and you also love Robbie’s ancient oven!
I like the whole map. Some areas are populated and have a cozy feel to them, others are secluded enough to feel like a dreamscape but in a good way, and others bring exhilarating danger in ways that fit the story but also seem realistic enough to kinda happen
I have a lot of favorites- akkala, gerudo, necluda, and faron
Gerudo is my favourite because of the music, Gerudo Valley Ocarina of time
Ironically enough, my favorite champion is Revali even though Gerudo is my favorite region! I like Gerudo cause its such a faraway place and its color palette is distinctly high contrast compared to the other regions.

Gerudo is one of my favorite because Yiga won’t ambush you unless you take the path from Kara Kara Bazaar to Gerudo Town. Otherwise you won’t ever have to worry about them
How do you get into Gerudo Town without going to Kara Kara Bazaar?
@@aratherlargerodent Yiga only attack you if you’re within a certain distance of a path/road. There are no roads in the Gerudo Desert except for the route from Kara Kara Bazaar and Gerudo Town
