Those Pedigree engines were built at the Hagerstown Md engine plant. They were complete from water pump to bellhousing, oil pan, turbo, injection pump, everything. Very high quality rebuild. Every bit as good as brand new in my opinion. I can remember them at Philly Mack back in the early 80's they were $6,500 exchange for a 237. I put a lot of them in, they were a great deal. Acme Markets bought lots and lots of them, and put brand new cabs on the trucks, at the time I think the complete R model cab was about 6k
A great truck guys ! I drove the same year and model for ten years. These engines 237 & 300 five speeds never break down, they run forever. We had mostly the R model and three of U model. They all ran great for years, very dependable. Good video.
Man if it wasnt for my daughters wedding and in the process of buying a pick up its tempting!! That truck is one of the best ever built! Im buying a good pickup to haul my tractor to the mountains of NC help my nephew. We got hit real hard down here. The liberal media isnt showing much of it like Katrina.
Due to shipping costs and import taxes to the UK, the best offer I could make at the moment, is 3x packs of Jelly Beans, a Snickers bar, 5x assorted buttons and a piece of string, I may also be able to find some pocket fluff too.
That looks like a Mack from the old company “Torresdale Fuel” or at least I believe that was the name of the company that was down on State Rd the Bensalem/Philly border.
