Update for anyone watching the video acouple months down the line, Citadel Shields are now 2 way instead of 1 way. So the usage is now completely different from how Cyrious describes it.
7:48 one note for newer people -welcome to the pain train btw - OSs are also extremely useful for eliminating max-heavy forces. An OS will kill any maxes in its radius, even if they are in cover. Great vid as always :)
Being a loner isn't a bad thing, but an outfit brings so much to the table, we use war assets all the time my outfit depends on them, I run a semi functional infiltrator outfit, we scout the battlefield and give strategic intel on the command channel, I wish people did this more often as well, it can be very challenging and fun scouting enemy territory, looking for weaknesses to exploit, my infiltrators dabble in the school of the Knifing n' Stalk, when my outfit works together we can feed so much information to the CC about incoming armor, enemy focus and their priority, and well, when we figh and if you're not careful, a single infil with a power blade can clean a room, now imagine 3-5 infiltrators doing the same thing when together in a Op.
The vehicle discount modules are much more useful than you give them credit for! Running a squad where you often gal/valk drop? Slap one of them bad boys on the warpgate and now you don't run out of nanites if you're the guy pulling. Doing a harasser squad? You know your squad of pubbies gets killed pretty quick, and 'rassers are expensive now. Light Vehicle Discount module makes for more fun, more longer. Even running solo they're great. Skyknights keep blastin you out the sky? You could build a little aircraft pulling base, OR slap a module on the warpgate and now you can chain pull them! What's the best tank for running solo? Lightning! But those pesky 2-man MBT's win more fights than you do... but wait! It doesn't matter if you die as long as it's cheap enough to spawn another one! Maybe this time you'll win! Anyway, I like em and they're cheap AF. Use em whenever you can.
@@CMDRCyrious I like it. There's nothing wrong with the way you were doing it, in my opinion. However, for the junkies among us who watch several of your videos in a row (and I do) I can see how people might start skipping the intro to get to all your secrets on gitting gud.
Just started a couple weeks ago. I've been watching some of your vids and couldn't find one that looked at assets and using them. Looked elsewhere too but nothing. Perfect timing!
On Connery i my outfit GxCO i use it solo but with it i do anti bastion ops with the colossus so i can support my allies when some wont. The risks are always high but so much fun
I don't know if you go through and read comments on your old videos because I'm sure you don't have a lot of time, but if you do I would really love to see a retrospective on the bastion and here is my reasoning. When the bastion was added I don't remember seeing so many people in the game at one time and the coordination of squads and platoons even public was perfect. As shown in your video you have a massive Air Wing formed could be outfit platoons even pubbies but they are together to fight the bastion. Since the bastion was Nerfed I hardly ever see that scale of coordination armor and air columns being formed. Tl;dr even though it hurt high-skill ivi players and ivi fights in general I do believe bastion Nerf was actually a great detriment to the player base. 9:58
They do, they just don't say so, and won't let you pull the vehicle/aircraft unless you could afford it without the discount. That said, if you take note of the amount of nanite removed from your pool, the discount does apply. While the existence of this bug is annoying, it isn't even the worst bug related to pulling vehicles from the deploy screen.

As an esf pilot i can just say these discounts are literally INVALUABLE.
I wish there was an option to deploy all modules with one click, but yeah I like em as well.
