Ford motor company has just unveiled the all new 2025 Ford mustang GTD! This brand new mid engine, mustang features an 800 hp supercharged V-8, and a carbon fiber body! This is the road going version of the mustang GT three that he's going to compete at the 24 Hours of LeMans!

@@jackieray8188mid engined means the engine is between both axles. The engine is probably pushed back behind the front axle making it technically mid engined

@@RandomCommenter-qu2ocit's mot mid engine configuration, you only make confusions. The Mustang GTD is front-mid engine, meaning the engine is placed behind the front axle
Thanks for the video on the reveal! I too am glad Ford has doubled down on this and will be putting it to the ultimate test at Le Mans!! Congrats on your recognition from Ford Motor Company. Hopefully your product reviews make it into the design rooms of future models and trims to come. Knowing that you've been recognized actually gives me a little more hope than before lol. I also work at a Ford Dealership, and had I known you would be at this meeting, I would have begged my owner to attend. Well done!

What a fantastic vehicle. I am sure that no one in this world with a pulse would not want this car. I am in Australia and have been a Ford man since being a mechanic at a dealer back in the 1970 and early 80s. Keep up the great work Ford.

This has to be the coolest mustang I’ve seen in my time. I know I can’t afford this, but I’m gonna dream! What a home run Ford has hit with this one. The styling and technology in this monster is incredible, my only critique is the exhaust tips. I’m not too fond of the design, but I can’t wait to see how it performs.
So the burning question is will 6’3” be able to get in and out of it a bit more gracefully than the gt??😜 kudos to you Mitchell for the invite from Ford for the social media talk, well deserved and overdue

My semi has 19 inch brake rotors and it can stop 80k so 20’s for a 4K car is awesome.

Without a shadow of a doubt, this is the car I've been waiting ford to make since I fell in love with the mustang when I was a teenager, nearly 3 decades ago.
How are you going to get $400,000 probably more after mark up to buy this car. If you’re smart you’d buy a 911 turbo for half the cost that’ll be just as fast . Boy I don’t understand why Ford finds it IMPOSSIBLE to build a sports car for AMERICANS. Chevy does it. Camaro ZL1 Corvette a Z06 will do what this does

I LOVE IT!!! It would be wasted on someone of my age and lack of racing ability, but I would have one in a second if I could. They say they want to do a sub 7 minute around the Nurburgring, and win Le Mans, and I am sure they will. A lot of super cars leave me a little cold , looking like something from fantasy movie, but the GTD turns my crank.
I love it and want one bad. I’ve already been talking to my dealer and unfortunately I do not believe they are even going to try to be able to sell the car😢.

Ten years ago, I knew someone building a Chevy C-10 Racing Truck. I'm a Chevy guy too but I suggested instead of a racing truck, build a Mustang Fastback converted to mid-engine. He said no. I knew I was right and this GTD proves it. Now the very expensive C-10 is collecting dust while the prototype Mid-engine Mustang would have been a winner in my opinion.
Thank you for so kindly sharing this awesome car with us! Sadly another car I would love to own but will pass me by as did the GT. But it still doesn't diminish my love for the wonderful creativity coming out of the Ford Motor Company! You are the best person to introduce this vehicle. Thank you!

You know, I love it. I recently picked up a 2019 Bullitt (after waiting 4 years) and it is all stock. Every time I get behind the wheel it is exuberating. It will definitely be in my garage for centuries to come. The GTD is crazy amazing! Lok forward to seeing in person someday.

Love-love-love the gigantic air vents on the hood, the vents on the front quarter panel, and the air scoop on the rear qp. Sexy, rough, brute of a car. So... will they make one for us down here on earth? Damn, I hope so. Glad they are keeping the ICE alive, BUT... does this mean that ICE vehicles still have a future at Ford? Frack, I hope so.

From information provided by Ford. The Mustang GTD is a front engine supercharged 5.2 engine with 800+ Horsepower and a 50/50 weight distribution. I believe the ordering process will be like the Ford GT Supercar

It's not a mid engine, it's a rear mounted transaxle. The engine will be in the front.
Thanks, I keep hearing mid engine and keep thinking where? There is no room behind the driver seat and why is the hood so long. Glad it isn't mid engine. It's not a mustang if it's mid engine. then it's another Ford gt (that wouldn't be bad either)

I don't get the the reason for this? They already have the Ford GT that's mid engine and in that price range with better aero to be a super car. Mustang is supposed to be affordable not 4 times than price if a Corvette.
Ford gotta make an affordable mid engine and name it thunderbird. $100-150k
It's a cool mustang and it's great that Ford is stretching the limits of the Mustang. With that said, for nearly half price a Z06 is going to be the better buy by a longshot.

Don't you realize soon we won't even be allowed to drive a gas vehicle. Then what will you do with a 300k sports car? Just look at it? Ford is leading the push for EV's.

Now, I guess you pay for gas to drive this car, who will pay 10 a gallon, not many. And if you do, they will make it illegal for sure. It's not coming it is here. Yes it happen over night.
